Mediavel a village on the border between Portugal and Spain, Quinta de Santa Isabel is a very old building next to the castle that defended the border. The village and the house are a testimony of the early centuries of independence from Portugal, the twelfth to the fourteenth century, where several kings used to spend. The name of the farm comes from the Queen Isabella of Aragon, which entered into Portugal by St. Stephen to marry the King Diniz in 1282.
The house is situated in the village boundary, facing a mountain of Scots pine and an old vineyard, where our guests are free to walk in a quiet contact with the rustic nature.
