Fabulous villa with amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

The villa is a typical Spanish house, lots of dark wood and high ceilings, terracotta flooring throughout. It was immaculately clean and comfortably furnished. There are lots of different seating areas outside with amazing views over the mountains. You could hear a pin drop it was so peaceful. We arranged a taxi transfer from Malaga airport instead of hiring a car. I must admit with hindsight, even though neither myself or husband enjoy driving abroad, a car would have been beneficial. The villa is down a steep private track with no lights. Once you reach the main road, the walk to the village was about 20 minutes away, the views were breathtaking. The village was very pretty and the locals extremely friendly. We ate at La Maroma most evenings, the food was lovely and inexpensive.

Overall we had a fantastic, relaxing holiday in a beautiful location. We are much fitter too after walking to the village every night! If you want a relaxing, peaceful holiday in a beautiful part of Spain, this is the villa for you. Thank you David for letting us stay in your beautiful house.

If you want a quiet place

  • 5 of 5

Very quiet place in the mountain, only surrounded by goats, a rooster, a donkey...We once saw a fox by the pool.

Fantastic view, a wonderful place.

Beautiful villa with a spacious, blooming garden

  • 5 of 5

We had a very nice two weeks holiday at Villa Indalo. The view was fantastic and the village nearby friendly and authentic. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the spacious garden of the villa very much and had many nice dinners at the terrace. We also found nice restaurants from the village Canillas de Aceitono: El Bodegon de Juan Maria, La Sociedad, La Maroma.. Nerja was our favorite beach resort, Torre de mar closer not so attractive. We recommend Villa Indalo for all those who are looking for relaxation and peaceful country life.

Perfect holiday in an idyllic place

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I stayed in Villa Indalo in September. We had a lovely time. The house was more than we expected, it felt like a real home. We especially enjoyed the pool and barbecues in the evening while listening to the goat bells in the distance. It was lovely to sit outside at night gazing at the stars and the village lights whilst enjoying the different aromas from the mature garden.

We will definitely return next year.

Excellent in every way!

  • 5 of 5

Had an amazing holiday at this private house. It exceeded all expectancies. The house was beautiful. .. furnished well, with lots of special touches. The bedrooms were large, with 2 bathrooms. Outside is quite a large pool with sun loungers and 2 outdoor dining areas. It was all completely private. Sunsets were amazing and the views over the mountains with the pretty village in the background were breathtaking. The village is close by and is very traditional with tiny streets and lots of character. There are plenty of small cafes/bars serving great coffee! Very reasonably priced. The coast is only a half hr drive and there are plenty of markets. I will definitely return, and recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect villa in tranquil setting

  • 5 of 5

We were 4 adults and one baby. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Indalo. The listing description in no way exaggerated the beauty and setting of the villa. It was indeed furnished and equipped to a high standard and clean and well maintained.

The attractive prettily planted patio garden offers plenty of places to lounge in either sun or shade , Views are breath taking and the silence only disturbed by the bells on the goats as the herd travel homeward each evening.

The village is walkable and offers some traditional bars, restaurants and small grocery stores, all at reasonable cost.

We also used the BBQ at the villa on several evenings for the wonderful fish we bought at the Eroski mammoth supermarket about 20-25 minutes away.

We travelled out to some lovely nearby villages and once we found the church we nearly always found a bar alongside.

Customer service was great and we had contact with the owner, before and after our visit and had an emergency local number for any problems ( which we didn't have to use).
