Super convenient apartment!
The booking process was very easy as was the check-in. Gabrielle speaks English well, so communication before your stay is clear. Gabrielle is a very polite and helpful man who will answer all of your questions. He has a map in hand when you arrive, so he can circle the places you want to find and give directions. You walk out the big wooden front door, turn left and the Metro is just steps away. We used it to get to the Borghese Museum and to the Colloseum. The Vatican and Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel are within easy walking distance. We also walked as far as the Pantheon one evening. There are two grocery stores about ten minutes away on foot. We stayed here for five nights and cooked all of our meals. The stove top is gas and the oven is electric. The refrigerator is a decent size. The dishes are nice and the cookware adequate. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for my daughter and I. We loved being in a small building with neighbors. We felt very safe in the apartment as well as in the area. This is a busy district, but once you are inside you hear nothing. There are several large windows that open into two small courtyards. The air conditioning works very well, but it is also nice to open the windows to let the breeze blow through. We always had hot water. The bathroom is okay, but the shower stall is very small. It is easier to take the shower head down off the hook and use it as a hand held device. The bed has a firm memory foam type mattresss. I sleep on a softer mattress at home but I had no back problems or discomfort on this bed. The WiFi worked well as did the tv which only gets programs in Italian. I would recommend this property to my friends and would stay here again.
Thank you so much Victoria, was a pleasure for me to host you in the apartment and I'm very happy to hear that you spent great time in Rome. You and your doughter have been perfect guests and I hope too see you soon again.
A big hug to both of you :)
Great city, great apartment and great host!
The owner of the apartment, Gabriele, contacted us prior to our visit to help us with airport transfer information which was really appreciated. He made us feel very welcome when we arrived and luckily his English is very good because my Italian isn't! The location of the apartment really suited our family of four. We saw a lot of the city during our stay - mostly on foot, but there is a Metro station a very short walk away from the front of the building, and tram and bus stops as close the other way. There were lots of nice restaurants around too although the closer you go to the Vatican, the more touristy (and expensive) they become. The apartment is quiet and comfortable and well appointed. Gabriele made it clear he was available to deal with any issues we might have during our stay which was reassuring (although we didn't have any). I would highly recommend this apartment and thanks again to Gabriele!
Thank you so much Simon, your review is fantastic!
It was a pleasure to welcome you and all your family in my apartment and I hope to host you again in the future because you have been perfect guests.
Gabriel is a wonderful host. The apartment is extremely close to the metro making transportation around Rome a breeze. There is a lot of shopping and dining available in the area as well as a market to pick up items if you decide to stay in and cook. As a family if 5 with two teenagers and a toddler we were very comfortable.

The apartment was super cute and me and my family loved staying there! Location was amazing, it was in walking distnace to the Vatican and the metro was only feet away which made getting around very convienent. Also is one of the more affordable apartments which is even better. Gabriele was very helpful with giving us a map and showing us some good restaurants close by and how to get around using the metro. I definitely recommand staying here, I would again if I ever make it back to Rome! :)
