A Luxurious 2 Bedroom Apartment In The Heart Of Grand Anse.

This modern well-equipped apartment in the heart of Grand Anse is a jewel in the Caribbean, a stone’s throw from the world famous Grand Anse Beach, an early morning swim is a must. There are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, which are comfortable and come with a double bed in each room. The apartment has Wi-Fi connection and cable TV with 2 sports channels so you can keep up with the latest football or cricket scores.

Situated on the Main Grand Anse Rd parallel to the beach, there are regular buses so it is not essential to hire a car. The main town of St Georges is a short bus ride away, there are several restaurants and bars close by.

This apartment has its own drive and private verandah so you can sit and read a book or watch the sunset.

In August Grenada hosts a Carnival and on the Monday night, usually the second Monday in August, the procession passes in front of the apartment, which is a wonderful experience and not one to be missed.

We spent 3 weeks in Grenada with Gus and Anette. Anette was a way and Gus looked after the property. We enjoyed Grenada, the beaches were wonderful and we found some great snorkelling at Magazine beach near a restaurant called the Aquarium. We rode the busses all over the island and found them a great way to get around. The significant problem with this apartment is the location. When we booked it was across the street from a huge green space of many acres. The green space opened onto the beach. When we arrive All the trees were gone and it was an enormous construction site. A resort is in progress. Work starts at 7:30 and goes until 6 pm 6 days a week. The noise, dirt, and diesel fumes were very difficult to live with. The apartment is also on a very busy main road right on a curve in the road. As the trucks and busses pass by they honk their horns to the oncoming traffic. We do understand that this is not the owners fault as they have no control over the building but you will be very disappointed if you are expecting a quiet holiday.

Owner's Response: I am very sorry to hear that Jackie and Paul were disappointed with the location of our villa in the heart of Grand Anse. I informed Jackie and Paul before their arrival that my husband would welcome them to the apartment and collect the balance of payment, so I am little surprised that she mentioned I was away. I am currently out of the island having had surgery on 8th Feb 2016. I think the fact that the Silver Sands 5 star hotel resort has chosen the location close by is testament to a great location. This includes 13 luxury villas which will line the main road opposite our property, the main part of the hotel will be on the other end of the 10 acre site out of our view. Our apartment is in close proximity to the beach in Grand Anse, where you can wander onto the beach using several access points, the green space opposite was never an access point and is in fact private property with at least a 20ft drop from the road area opposite us. We always try and make guests feel welcome and my husband invited Jackie and Paul into our home for drinks and dropped them back to the airport when they were leaving Grenada, which he did without taking a payment. We have many repeat guests and recommendations from others and we look forward to many more guests in the future. Annette

A home away from home...

We visited this property at the end of January, staying for 7 days and chose to rent this property following a recommendation from family members who had stayed before. It was without a doubt the right choice - a fantastic decision in fact.

From the start, Annette and Gus, were extremely friendly and hospitable, and with their fantastic knowledge of the local area and rest of the island, were able to dispense useful and very much appreciated advice.

The apartment comes with all the mod cons you would want. It is clean and spacious, with the appliances modern and well maintained, with the living areas and bedrooms, relaxing and comfortable. The bathroom is large, clean with everything working as it should. From a personal point of view, the reliable internet connection and choice of television channels were superb, while the verandah at the front allows you to sit and relax and watch the world go by, day or night.

The apartment is located a short walk away from the beautiful Grand Anse beach, with some local bars and restaurants in close surround. Outside the apartment is the main road to town, where there are always buses coming past taking you into St Georges and the lovely Carenage area - offering plenty of things to see and do, and more places to eat, drink, relax and enjoy.

If you are renting a vehicle, the apartment offers parking outside the property and off the roadside also.

We will certainly rent this apartment again, and would recommend to anybody looking for a great value holiday apartment in a wonderful location., on the beautiful island of Grenada. An Oasis indeed.

Fantastic Family Apartment

This is a fantastic apartment situated opposite the beautiful Grand Anse beach. The owners have an indepth knowledge of the local area and the island, and are very welcoming, friendly and hospitable.

The apartment is very modern, spacious, clean and tidy with a TV showing many channels that all the family will be happy with (Sport, Kids TV, movies, UK news etc).

There are shops near by for food and buses & taxis pass all the time to take you to St Georges (capital of island), beaches, shops and restaurants). The owners even kindly picked us up from the supermarket in their car on the first night after we had done our food shopping!

We had a wonderful time here with our two children (4yrs & 2yrs) and will definitely go back. Thank you for the wonderful time, memories and plantains for breakfast! The cocoa pod was a hit in my son's class and it is now fermenting!

The location is so good, being opposite one of the islands most beautiful beaches and being ablle to walk there. The apartment owners will tell you the best places to go.

Book here you won't regret it!

Oasis...most certainly!!!!

My husband & I stayed at the Oasis in August 2012. This was our first trip to Grenada and we wanted to stay in an area & location to use as our base. We have stayed in many apartments and I have to say I was very impressed the Oasis. We were not disappointed, our hosts were so inviting and hospitable. Always on hand to provide advice, like were to shop for food, were to get the bus etc. The apartment was lovely and clean. All new fittings and fixtures the photos do it no justice, simply lovely. Got great advice regarding places of entertainment especially during the evenings. Out favourite on Friday night being the Boatyard.

We took advantage of the gorgeous sands of Grand Anse Beach we were so close within minutes you were there. I had read about before we left the UK and it was breath taking. We went on the Beach daily and took early morning jogs. We could sit on the verandah in the mornings to eat our breakfast it was like paradise. So this apartments location was ideal and so convenient to us. Transport links are superb!

My husband managed to watch UK football on the TV and I got the chance to catch up with family & friends on Skype. I could not have asked for a better apartment the owners were friendly, helpful and always on hand to answer the typical tourist questions. It was like home from home with perfect weather during our stay.

I was so impressed that I have now booked two weeks for next Summer!
