Our 'nest' is located on a tail end of Treasure Island. It's just a ONE small block wide! Perfect. Oh, did I mention the heated pool with the tiki huts & lounge chairs? Everything is so convenient and cute.

The "Nest" comes with 2 flat screen TV's, Wi-Fi, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and more. Here's to a sweet vacation!

Sunset Beach is the cutest 'key west' community around. Fly on down to "The Beach Nest" for your vacation!
Don & I bought Sunset Cove in 2004 for an investment and a vacation home. We currently live in The Villages, FL which is a couple of hours from 'the beach nest' but certainly close enough for us to get there to inspect, fix and enjoy. We are both retired. We moved to Florida in 1990 for the beautiful weather and have not regretted it one day. it's gorgeous down here. Don is originally from WV and I am a Jersey girl. We both have 4 adult children & lots of grandkids. We have renovated the condo putting in all new appliances and some nice fresh paint & flooring. We are proud of our place and enjoy sharing it with our guests.
Don Estep or Barb Delgrosso purchased this condo in 2004
We love Sunset Beach. It is like a mini-Key West. We are surrounded by beach cottages, lattice, tropical landscaping, coconut trees & beautiful flowers. It's an adorable area and the best part is that we are on the skinniest part of the little strip with one side being the bay and the other side the beach.
We really like coming to our place because it is so convenient. You pull right up in front of the door (how nice is that). It makes it so easy. One of the rituals we always do when we get here, is walk down to Caddy's on the Beach for breakfast. We just love looking out on the water while eating our breakfast and drinking our morning coffee. And the best thing is that a few minutes up the street, there are other restaurants too, a ton of activities & shops and whatever you need or want. Great location. Come to 'the nest'.
Don & Barb,
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in you condo. It was a beautiful week and the condo was wonderful. Fully equipt and great location.
We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay.
My husband and I stayed for a week, we enjoyed the beach and pool every day,the weather was wonderful, the condo was clean and very nice and had everything we needed and we would return again ,Thanks Barb,Janine
We flew to PIE airport, rented a car and drove to the "Nest" for a week. My wife and I along with my two sons had a great time! We visited Treasure Island three years ago so we had a good idea of what to expect but we never experienced Sunset Beach unit this summer. Each morning we got up at 6 and spent our first three hours of the day at the beach which was a very short walk across a quiet street down a private path for sunset cove residents. The beach was great fun. We found sea shells and lots of sun and shade. There were lots of sea birds and surf. The beach was a new experience each morning and we enjoyed it the whole week. After our morning walk on the beach, we went swimming in the pool and took showers. We beat the heat by getting started early and going out to fun places in the middle of the day. We visited the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Tampa Bay and Mote Marine Aquarium. We went shopping at Publix and enjoyed their great sub sandwiches.
The "Nest' had plenty of towels, dishes and hot water for showers. The "Nest" also had ceiling fans and great air conditioning. We parked in front of the unit and we did laundry a couple of times at the coin operated laundry machines located at the end of the building. We only came with back packs and a couple changes of clothes since our airline charged a lot for baggage. This was a great vacation and we will definitely return to Sunset Beach again in the future!
Beautiful clean quiet building. Accross the street from sunset beach. Restaurants and supermarket with in a mile away, nice pool.
Can't wait to be back.
The Nest in Sunset Cove had adorable decor that certainly gives you the feeling of staying in a beach retreat. Everything was clean, up-to-date and worth the price. All of the linens and kitchen equipment were available. The owners were very helpful in getting us setup and providing details on our arrangements.
Access to the beach was a simple trek across the parking lot. The owners graciously supply renters with chairs, towels, fishing equipment, toys, and all the goodies you may need for spending days on the beach. If you're not a beachcomber, the pool area is welcoming and a great place to relax in the Florida sun. We've stayed in the complex before and have never had a bad experience.
Few helpful hints to anyone staying at the Nest:
*Be sure to visit the Ka'Tiki bar which is a short walk down the street
*Take your own toilet paper, paper towels & trash bags for the apartment
*Publix is a great food market that's a short drive away
*Witnessing at least one sunset on the beach is a must!
Myself and my husband enjoyed our stay here very much! Everyone in the condo complex was so nice and welcoming! The condo itself was very nice, clean, and we loved the additional bonuses like the beach chairs with umbrellas and fishing pole. My husband caught a couple small fish off the pier at the back of the condo. We loved waking up and having our coffee by the picnic tables at the pier. Everything was very relaxing and nice! We really enjoyed the pool, it was very clean and the water temp was just perfect! We will recommend this condo to anyone and would love to come back. The owners were very easy to deal with and answered all of my e-mails in a very timely fashion.
Overall we had such a wonderful time here and hope to come back soon!
