Absolutely nothing is missing from this three-bed accommodation

The apartment is located in Estrella, a short distance from the centre of Calheta, occupying an elevated position which commands the most incredible ocean views. There are most amenities nearby - cafes, shops, restaurants and a fuel station. No expense had been spared on the quality of the fittings and furnishings, taking the apartment to the very highest standard - the most discerning guest will not be disappointed!

The property is to a certain extent built around the view and the very large balcony facing the ocean - ideal obviously for the views, but also for maximum exposure to the sun. The en-suite master bedroom is opulence itself, with a queen-sized bed, Italian marble fittings and private access to the balcony, whilst the 'house' bathroom is huge! The second double bedroom is very spacious, whilst the third has two single beds. The kitchen and dining room have every facility you could wish for, whilst there is a large utlilty room with full laundry facilities. The lounge has satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a built-in bar. There is a shared pool.

This apartment is fully licensed with the local authority as "AL" tourist accommodation. The scheme requires holiday accommodation to conform to the very highest safety, quality, service and insurance standards.

Spacious comfortable and well equipped..

The property is excellent in most respects. The only negative would be the lack of restaurants within easy walking distance - there is really only one - and unfortunately for us they chose the last two weeks in October to take their annual holidays and it was very closed.

Spacious with great views

Outstanding apartment - huge in comparison to others we have stayed in locally. It was exactly as advertised with all the facilities you would expect. Two balconies, one for breakfast and sunrise, the other larger one for sunbathing for the rest of the day with fantastic ocean views. The agent was most helpful, and the housekeeper. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will return next year.

Lovely spacious clean apartment in good location

We were met at the apartment by the cleaner who showed us around which took some time as it is very large plenty of room for just the 2 of us.

It was very well equipped all cooking things you you could need.

However there was no internet or TV. But when we got in touch with house keeper she sorted out internet over night and arranged for tv people to come on Monday to fix. We had to wait in for them and when they left showed us how to work every thing and all was ok until we got back in evening and TVs didn't work and stayed like that for our stay, this was a bit annoying as the Euro football was on at time. Use of the pool wasnt always possible as you needed a key to get to it and we couldn't find one

Just up the road is a lovely cafe serving great pizzas and cheap beer

Owner's Response: The Euros were only on a subscription channel, which would have cost a lot! - better off going to the cafe and watching the sports channel with a cheap beer!! There used to be a communal key to the pool, and this sometimes went missing. The apartment now has its own key so there is no problem with access.

The only disappointment was that we picked the apartment for the pool and found nearly every day the door to reach it was locked and on the day it was open for use the pool needed a good clean to be honest. Our party was very disappointed. Apartment was very spacious though but had a terrible ant problem in the kitchen which seemed to be historical as we found ant spray had been provided. They got into our food and we had to pull out the fridge-freezer to get to where they seemed to be coming from. Other than this it was a beautiful apartment with fantastic views....

Owner's Response: We always go to great lengths to explain to guests that they must be careful leaving food and rubbish lying around in the kitchen. If they ignore this advice the ants will quickly appear - but the same goes for any apartment in this climate.

"You cannot really believe the views from the south-facing balcony here - wall to wall sunny blue ocean below you. Great location, but a stiff walk back up from Calheta - good exercise! Hire car is recommended - particularly because the taxi transfer from the airport is €70 in each direction so it works out not much more for the week - and there is so much to see. The apartment is spacious and impeccable - too much almost!"
