The village of El Tarter is a ski-in / ski-out resort at the foot of the Grandvalira ski area (Soldeu/Grau Roig/Pas de la Casa). In the winter months it becomes a skiers paradise. You can access the 193 km of groomed ski runs from the El Tarter gondola and chairlift which are in 5 minutes walking distance from the property on foot.
In summer there are great possibilities of hiking, mountain biking or horse riding, together with special activities for children and Europe´s highest golf course at Soldeu.
El Tarter itself is well equipped with a good selection of bars and restaurants, as well as a small supermarket and a good selection of ski equipment hire shops. The lively village of Soldeu is 5 minutes away by car or bus - you will be spoilt for choice here, with a wide variety of bars, restaurants, shops and nightclubs to suit all tastes. El Tarter is an excellent choice for families, as all our properties here are situated in a quiet and private gated development.
