great property and fantastic location
I couldnt fault this lovely cottage and such a great time was had by all of the family from grandparents to the children of 6 and 9. It is remote location but only 15 minutes from Oban, for local ameneties for ferries to the Islands or a just a short walk to the coast itself and Loch Creran. Super clean property and comfortable place to live. Fantastic kitchen to both prepare and dine in. Great handsome neighbours of the highland cows. Would stay again .
West Ferlochan Cottage was perfect for us. Our group was made up of 6 family members who live in Scotland, England and Canada meeting up for a vacation together. The setting of the cottage is beautiful and its location was central to places we wished to visit. The facilities were excellent, plenty of room, everything we needed in the kitchen and spotlessly clean.
We had a wonderful stay! The kitchen was very well equipped, the house was cozy, and the surrounding farm was fantastic. We especially enjoyed meeting the cows and learning about them from Willie and his daughter Lyn. I highly recommend this house. Bring your hiking boots and camera--the views from the top of the hill are magnificent.
Perfect place to relax and enjoy beautiful scenery.
Cottage is cosy and comfortable with everything you need.
Charming;convenient to Oban; welcoming ,attentive staff
The cottage is spacious, beautifully decorated , and has a large well-equipped kitchen.
The property manager , Sandra, met us personally and explained in detail how the appliances operated and where to buy local eggs at the Pink Store down the road.
Sally quickly responded to inquiries, and was especially helpful when directions on our phone would not load and we emailed her for last minute help.
The Hawthorne Restaurant down the road served delicious, gluten free dinners .
We hope we can return very soon!
