Villa l'Horizon, as its name would suggest, enjoys a panoramic view of les Iles d'Or, Cap Negre, Le Lavandou and Le Grand Bleu- the breathtaking bay at the heart of an area outed recently in the Sunday Times as 'The Riviera for the discerning'- and we thought we had kept it a secret. The Villa itself is a modernist gem, completely refurbished with comfortable, stylish, easy living in mind. Also with the benefit of state of the art air conditioning throughout. Built on one level, twelve doors flood the house with light and air from all directions and connect every room to the poolside.

A large open-plan living room with a modern suspended fireplace opens onto a raised dining area and a state of the art Balthup kitchen that in turn leads out to the main terrace.

The master bedroom, almost 8 metres in length, is ensuite; two further bedrooms share a shower room and a separate WC.

The landscaped gardens, that get sun and shade all through the day, are a joy to the eye. There is a 12 metre infinity pool flanked by terraces, a boule and skittles pitch, shady outdoor seating areas, a dining area and plenty of interesting corners to sit and relax together or separately. You could while away your whole holiday here but on the other hand, there is plenty to enjoy in the surrounding area. Our local knowledge will ensure you enjoy the best of restaurants, boating, beaches, wineries and walks.

Not suitable for small children or wheelchair users. The shallow end of the pool is 1.1 metres deep and not advisable for non-swimmers (but great for doing lengths)

Villa l'Horizon is a family home during the winter months, it is therefore generously and stylishly furnished and is equipped as a family home, not as a typical holiday let. There is a quality Balthup kitchen, which is well stocked with white china. Well stocked with cutlery and glasses, serving dishes and bowls, pots and pans, blenders and mixers. The large living room has a modern suspended fireplace, flat screen television, DVD player, hi-fi with iPod connection, wireless internet, plenty of books and CD's and a classic baby foot table. We have lovely landscaped gardens with ornamental grasses, mature shade trees and magnificent palms. The dining terrace overlooks the botanical gardens and the sea. There is an outdoor Gas Grill, a 2 metre dining table and an outdoor seating area with comfortable sofas and shade sails. The heated 12 metre infinity pool is cleaned professionally once a week. All bedrooms have direct access to have sun loungers and enormous adjustable parasols.

The centre of the charming village of Rayol, with excellent butcher/traiteur, grocery, legendary bar and a newsagent stocking international papers, is only 7 minutes walk, and an 8 minute walk takes you to delightful Rayol beach.

Safe cycling and walking along the old coastal railway track

Bike Hire, Sailing school and boat hire are very close by.

St Tropez is 30 minutes drive; St Clair beach (voted best beach in France)and restaurants are a 12 minute drive, both are on a bus route that passes the door.

Hyeres/Toulon airport is a 40 minute drive, Nice and Marseille airports about 2 hours.
