Tastefully decorated and beautifully presented 1 bedroomed holiday accommodation
Warren Cottage has been delightfully renovated and tastefully decorated to provide traditional cozy comfort and is full of period character, including an inglenook fireplace with the old bread oven and woodburning stove, and the old beams in the bedroom ceiling.
The front door opens into a bright, fully fitted kitchen with vaulted ceiling. All the usual kitchenware is provided, with an abundance of utensils and many full-sized appliances including fridge/freezer, microwave, conventional oven, 4-ring hob and washing machine.
From the kitchen enter the old cottage and a comfortable sitting room with a luxurious reclining leather sofa, woodburning stove, good sized television with DVD. The dining area is set with oak table and chairs providing a perfect setting for a relaxing meal for two.
A modern Italian spiral staircase leads to a sunny double bedroom with beamed ceiling and far reaching views. The very comfortable, oak double bed is fitted with a luxurious foam mattress and a king-sized duvet for extra comfort.
The bathroom is conveniently located downstairs and has that 'wow' factor, featuring a good sized corner bath with an efficient electric shower above.
The cottage enjoys a south-facing aspect, and the afternoon and evening sunshine, which can soaked up outside on the deck watching the world go by. Secure storage is available within the lean-to which can house your hiking gear, a couple of push bikes or a motor bike, and parking for a car is partly off-road, alongside the deck.

Perfect Relaxing Retreat
The cottage is very cosy and welcoming. Well furnished with everything you need for a relaxing break. We enjoyed our two night break very much and would definitely return.
Cosy and welcoming
My 2nd stay at this pretty and cosy cottage. Tastefully decorated, well equipped, comfortable furnishings, very clean and neat. Situated on a pretty country road, lovely rural views from the bedroom windows, very quiet and peaceful retreat. Strongly recommended, the owners are helpful and take great care and pride in presenting this cottage to the highest standard.
A Month in the Country
I was looking for a quiet but not too expensive "retreat" to write for a month (October 2016) and was on the verge of giving up when I discovered Warren Cottage. It is superbly located on the outskirts of Ross but feels farther out in the country. It is a thoughtfully remodeled space with high-end but unfussy furnishings, and the owners (Clare and Rob), who live a short drive away, make sure everything is clean and organized for their guests. Given my length of stay, it was important that everything worked dependably, and it did, including fast broadband, very efficient heating (plus wood stove), well equipped kitchen, and superbly fitted-out bath/shower. The latter was sheer bliss after early morning runs along the country roads. The cottage also has a small outhouse which is handy for bike storage. As I write this, I'm trying to think of anything that wasn't quite perfect, but all I can come up with is wishing that the month at Warren Cottage had not gone by quite so quickly. Definitely plan to go back. Five stars, well deserved!
Thank you so much, we would love to see you again at Warren Cottage.... Clare & Rob
Just what we needed
At last we have found comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation in the area! The cottage is very tastefully decorated, clean, well equipped, and as cosy as it gets. We very much plan to be back..
Superb peaceful cottage, fully equipped, lots of little welcoming touches left by owners, peace, quiet, log burning stove, great bedroom, lounge and bathroom, close to Ross, idyllic and cannot recommend enough. We will most certainly be going back there....... a real haven! Peter and Lynne Gifford from Hertfordshire.
