The Palms at Wailea is acknowledged as one of the best residential resort complexes in the best location on the best (according to Conde Nast) island in the world. With sweeping vistas of the sea and neighboring islands, extensive landscaped open space, marvelously open, generously sized floor plans, and first class construction, The Palms is truly unique, even for Hawaii.
We designed our second floor condominium in paradise to be our second home, but increasing visits from family and friends have made it necessary to move on, and are now offering it on a limited basis to those who can appreciate a clean, modern setting with all the amenities: the best in contemporary European furnishings, home theater with cable TV, a large sunny lanai that after dark becomes a romantic setting for candlelight dinners under a brilliant star-filled sky.
Keawakapu beach is a few blocks distant, so plan to spend an evening or two watching the sunset from a front row seat on Maui's best beach. Five great golf courses within three miles, whale watching, swimming with the dolphins and just kicking back. We love this place. You will too.
PS: Just in case you need to check up on business occasionally or want to surf the net instead of waves, the condo has two high speed wireless internet(no charge) connected work stations.

We Love Maui! Before deciding on a second home on 'The Best Island in the World' (Conde Nast) we traveled and researched extensively, all over the United States, the Caribbean, Italy and France and we came to this clear conclusion. The Palms was a wonderful place to be, but needing more space for visiting grandchildren and friends we moved down the street to a two bedroom condo at Wailea Palms and now we share our first Maui home with selected guests via VRBO.
It has been a great experience for us and those who have stayed at The Palms. We have furnished and equipped the condo with pretty much everything you need for the perfect Maui vacation, including the chairs in the picture taken at 'Secret Beach'. We sometimes even share the 'Secret' with our guests.

This is a very nice condo with high end finishings in a lovely complex. Bright and contemporary with lots of windows, this condo was the perfect place for our three week vacation. It is very close to Keawakapoo beach - and a short drive to Big Beach and Maluaka - our two other favourite beaches. We also liked that it was only about a 15 minute walk to the Shoppes at Wailea. The owners were great and we had no problems during our stay.
This unit looks just like the picture! It was clean and ready to go. Access was easy and communication with the owner was great. Larry ensured we arrived and were able to access and also checked to make sure everything was good. When we stay in Wailea we will for sure check the availability of this unit.
Larry is an extremely nice and patient person to deal with. He answered all of my questions and concerns before arriving. Then when I did arrive he provided quick replies.
The condo itself is exactly as the pics detail very clean and well lit. The amenities of the condo were nice...washer/dryer, coffee pod machine/drip coffee machine, beach towels, etc as it made it feel like home. There are numerous windows so it is well lit during the day and the weather makes it so you don't really need a/c as the cross winds between the windows provide natural a/c.
Though not on the ocean you are close enough to walk down S Kihei Rd. You can even take a quick drive down to the Andaz and park there for free and enjoy the beach/amenities there. Then if you just want to have some private time you can always lay out on the sun deck.
In addition to very close proximity to the beaches/ocean you have a multitude of places to eat/drink at. Such as MonkeyPod (Grilled Fish sandwich, Kula pulled pork and any of the pizzas are excellent then if you like cocktails pass up the Mai Tai and get the No Ka Oi), Coconuts (Fish tacos...best on the island and huge...big enough to share), Wow Wow Lemonade (fresh pressed lemonade varieties...try the strawberry lillikoi lemonade), Da Kitchen (TerriBurger is a must try), Cow Pig Bun (good cocktails and burgers), Maui Brewery (numerous offerings of beer on tap another are different food trucks parked out by their brewery), lastly for sushi you can't go wrong with Sensei or Kioshi.
All in all this is a place you would like to come back to in order to have a carefree and relaxing vacation. The only thing missing is maybe a hammock out on the sundeck. But then again I might still be asleep on it vs writing this review back at home.

This place is a great joy to live in. The owner redesigned every inch of the place to provide a wonderful experience for the guest. Full condo air conditioning-- supplies to really last your whole stay-- every convenience thought of--and a extremely attentive owner when you needed it. Walking distance to best beach, Kehei and Wailea shops-- you can't find a better location.
This unit is exactly as depicted - a beautiful, light-filled unit which was well stocked with everything you need. It was very clean and well maintained. We were initially weary of the small BBQ, however it worked extremely well. It was nice to not have to rent beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkel equipment etc. which was also provided. This was our 4th time renting in the Kihei & Wailea areas, and by far the nicest unit. We would definitely stay here again.
From the ease of parking only steps from our front door, to finding our the keys hanging from the doorknob...this is a home we will visit again! The house was stocked with extra towels, umbrellas, chairs and a cooler for the beach which saved us so much room in our luggage and money when we arrived. Laundry machines stocked with detergent, fridge stocked with condiments, showers with body soap...the list goes on.
We would strongly recommend this home for your visit to Maui.
