We had a lovely stay at the doocot, exploring the kingdom of Fife from this little cottage. Had everything we needed for a nice stay. Lots of birds in the beautiful garden.

We were warmly welcome in the Doocot of Elaine and found a very proper und well equiped flat surplus a package of food to prepare a first breakfast. So we felt with the first step at home. The surrounding with the wonderful garden is peaceful and calm. A perfect place to relax and start exploring the amazing coast of Fife. Thank You, Elaine and Robert

Welcoming, peaceful and comfortable.

  • 4 of 5

This was in a good location for exploring the East Neuk of Fife, and several historic sites are easy to reach. We especially enjoyed the garden and house at our nearest property, Kellie Castle. But what made our visit here really special was the helpfulness and generosity of our hosts, without their being intrusive. They even went the extra mile by firing up their barbecue during a power cut and providing us with supper. Many thanks for the hospitality shown to us.

A delightful cottage in a great area with wonderful hosts

  • 5 of 5

We arrived to a welcoming warm cottage supplied with all that was needed for self-catering plus an enjoyable bag of 'goodies', which were much appreciated. The location gives ample opportunity to explore the nearby coastal towns and the interior is within easy reach for day trips.

Elaine and Robert were the perfect hosts going beyond their duty to help out and we offer our many thanks.

We recommend this dovecot for any looking for a quiet and relaxed rest.
