Selkirkstreet is a home for the discriminating guest and not just a holiday.
When you enter you have a spacious hall, where all rooms come out.
First, you have the salon, with lovely comfy sofas, where at the end of the afternoon a wine not to be despised and when it might be a little cooler, a gas fireplace, which you so have to with the push of a button making it even more enjoyable.
Then you have the garden room, which entrance to the garden, from which you can dive as in the pool.
There is a cozy room with flat screen TV and a fireplace.
In addition to the TV room, a bedroom with shower and access to the patio.
Further in the hall there is a guest toilet.
The dining room is on the other side of the hall and also comes out on the patio, which also has a large table with chairs so you inside, alswel can eat outside and then provide the kitchen with island and of all comfort, for those who loves cooking.
On arrival at our house, the security gate will open and close automatically and you as the double garage.
The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with several corners where you together or alone can enjoy the view of the mountains where you can sometimes spot a baboon and the chirping of the birds.
In the middle of the garden is a heated swimming pool.
There is a cover available in the event that there are small children reside.
At the back of the garden is a gate leading to a large playground, where children and even adults to practice their golf sticks, or a game of football.
Every so often a street barbeque is held, where everyone is welcome
The layout of the house is as follows:

Downstairs bedroom with shower room and entrance to the patio.
Large dining room, spacious enough for 8 people, with access to the patio, where a large outdoor table is so you inside, alswel can eat outside where there is a pond with a fountain, you can make delicious murmur.
Large kitchen, equipped with a kookeilend where everyone can sit there too cozy, if it is cooked.
All equipment is present on or just a Senseo coffee machine, to freezer combinations.
Plenty of crockery and cutlery.
In the pantry there is a coffee maker, washer, dryer, dishwasher and sink.
The utility room opens onto a courtyard, where the lemon trees grow and the fig tree and various herbs.
Also located here a rotary dryer for laundry.
We go upstairs, we have a railing where the bedrooms come out.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, with bath, shower and toilet.
Two bedrooms have access to a large balcony, where you in the evening can soak after, with a wine from the sun, the mountains and the sounds of baboons and other animals.
The whole house has underfloor heating and wireless internet.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioners.
The garden is at night around are illuminated, so you till late, great romantic garden
Everything is within walking distance.
Around the corner from us begins the golf course where everyone can play as guest or take lessons.
A little further every Saturday there is a market of local people, with their own baked cookies,
or jams and chutneys, plants, clothing, jewelry and artwork are trying to bring their products to the man in a nice friendly way, while enjoying drinks and snacks and live music.
This is every Saturday another kind of event where you can have breakfast and meet and socialize.

We spent 10 nights in a wonderful and very well euipped and decorated house with a lot of space inside and outside. The kitchen have all machines that you need. The diningroom, TV-room and sittingroom were very well furnished and the bedrooms had very nice beds. A heated pool and comfortable sunbeds in a lovely garden. We recommend this house and the owner is easy to speak/mail to.

enjoying a terrace with great views! Truly unique in its kind.

Whales are there from May until late November.
They swim to the shore and if you climb on the rocks you can even touch them, so close they are.

Along the coast is a cliff path. also unique in the world where you are walking, enjoy the beautiful view of the sea, but also of the fynbos, where you walk between.
Within a half hour drive away is Stanford, where birders' sochtends early with a boat on the water can go, than to enjoy the quiet beauty, with only the sound of the early birds.
Just half an hour away is Gansbaai, famous for the sharks.
You can in a cage into the water and face to face with the sharks.
