Very convenient location for attractions, restaurants, and grocery store. Make sure to have about 300 Euro cash ready for deposit upon arrival as they don't take credit card for that portion of fees. The property manager (Raffael) was very patient and helpful.
Great location but that's where it ends!
My wife and I stayed here for 17 nights. The apartment was not very clean at all, mould in the bathroom and on shower curtain, dust under the bed, dust on the vents of air conditioner and the floors didn't look like they have been washed. For this length of stay there should have been second set of bed linen and bath towels provided. Bed linen of very poor quality thread bare and holes in sheets. Also, there should have been another set of bed pillows for those who like to sleep with two pillows each. There wasn't any basic cleaning products provided eg dish washing liquid, dish cloth. Sewage smell from the toilet. There is no balcony, it has been enclosed it fit a laundry in. No draws to put clothes into. This apartment has so much potential in this area but it is a long way from that. We have stayed many times in Italy in many other really great apartments, unfortunately this is not one of them.
Location is good and the staff were good as well.
My two sons and I ( teenagers) really enjoyed this place. Great/safe location with many restaurants and gelato shops as well as high end shopping within a few blocks. Spacious, clean. Easy check in and check out. Very helpful with any questions/emails. Highly recommend.
Great location, walking distance to major attractions, person who met us was friendly and always available when needed, clean apartment
Excellent location and convenient apartment
We stayed at the Frattina on our recent visit to Rome. The location is perfect especially for first time tourists like ourselves. Just minutes from the Spanish steps, walking distance to the Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and about 20-30 minutes to the Colloseum ( depending on how many stops for pictures you take). The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and is great condition. Exactly like the pictures. It was adequately equipped. We did not cook, (other than morning coffee and heating food) so cannot comment on how the kitchen appliances worked. It was perfect for our family of 3. It can accommodate 4, however I think it might begin to feel a little cramped. The best part was being able to step out in the.morning and be at our destination in a.cpuple.minutes, head back to the apartment in the afternoons to escape the scorching heat rest up and then head out once again in the evening to enjoy the beautiful city at nighttime. Emanuel was wonderful with directions and suggestions on places to eat and things to do beyond the usual tourist attractions.
This flat is in a fantastic location. You can walk to everything from here including the Spanish steps that are less than 3 mins away. Tons of restaurants, the Metro is right there so you are able to hop on and two stops direct to the Coliseum. The only reason I am giving it three stars is because the air conditioning was broken for our entire stay. Also, the only window in the living area was broken and would not close so the street noise woke us up at 6 am. The staff tried to handle the issues as best the could but they could not get parts or the Air and the window took three attempts to finally fix on our last day.
We are sorry for the issue with the AC, we tried to repair it asap but the problem wasn't so easy to solve, now everything is ok.
You are in the heart of ancient Rome, a few minutes from the most important monuments of the Eternal City. The apartment is located in Via Sant'Andrea delle Frate, a few steps from the famous Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps). The elegance is without a doubt the main feature of the square. It is no coincidence in the three Vie Trident (Via del Corso, Via del Babbuino and Via di Ripetta) are concentrated stores of the most famous and exclusive designer labels. Piazza di Spagna, the framework offered by the ocher-colored buildings, Bernini's fountain and staircase on which stands the church Trinita dei Monti help to create a refined and eighteenth century. Former home of famous poets such as John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley, the square is now a cultural heritage of inestimable value. Located at the foot of the hill of the Pincio, Piazza di Spagna has always been the center of cultural life and tourism in the city of Rome. Nearby, Piazza del Popolo is definitely one of the most famous in the world. The twin churches of Santa Maria Montesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli, the Obelisco Flaminio (the oldest and the second highest of Rome), and the two fountains of Valadier help to create a charming atmosphere. And, yet, the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, built on the burial site of Emperor Nero, and his damned soul, and adjacent premises, which have become an integral part of the square and once frequented by people dear to the history of Rome as trilussa, Guttuso and Pasolini make Piazza del Popolo the cultural symbol of the 'Roman'. From here it is an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain. Before you get away do not forget to throw a coin into the fountain, you will ensure the return to the Eternal City. If you are in search of true love, perhaps of Italian nationality, throw then a second, a third, finally, to be sure to get married soon…
