Our stay in Rome was very enjoyable. The apartment was comfortable, immaculately clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils and the bathroom had more than enough towels. The location is in a very nice area and easy walking distance to all the sites. The metro is right around the corner if needed, we only used it to go to the Vatican, we walked everywhere else. Communication with Weekey was great from the planning stage all through our stay. Emmanuelle was waiting for us when we arrived, showed us around the apartment and gave us suggestions on where to eat, etc.. Serena was instrumental in setting up a tour for us in the last minute, which was wonderful. We also ordered a car for pick-up upon arrival and departure and drivers were right on time. We will definitely recommend Weekey to our friends and family!
Very comfortable, small but functional for our family of 4. Grocery store two blocks away and of course restaurants galore. Excellent communication throughout the process. Emanuele met us promptly on time, helped us with our very early checkout. Apartment clean, well maintained. Quite a few mosquitoes in Rome in June so close the windows at night (A/C in the apartment proved to be extremely useful).
Team was very helpful from the beginning. Serena was very responsive anytime we had questions and Rafael, the gentleman who gave us the key, showed us around the apartment and how everything worked. Location is perfect as it is 3 minute walking distance from The Spanish steps where there is a metro station. Pantheon, Giolitti (best gelato place), and Trevi a Fountain are all within 10 minute distance of the apartment. Apartment is small (pictures are true though) Only small issues like not getting enough toilet paper but other than that, it was a great place!
The apartment met all expectation of previous reviews, the Management Company did not handle check-in very well. I emailed Management Company 3 times stating expected arrival time at apartment prior to leaving on a two week cruise. Upon docking I called the company stating we were leaving the port, expecting arrival at previously stated time. Were told to call again 30 minutes out ( port 1:20 minute drive from port to apartment location ), called 30 minutes out reaffirming previous stated time. Arrived 5 minutes from stated time. No one there, waited 1 hour on street with luggage before person arrived to let us in apartment. Entering apartment found no tissue paper, no linens, bed not made - individual from management company said he would have someone immediately prepare apartment. We decided to walk around, returning to apartment 4 hours later. Nothing had been done. Attempted to call individual that checks us in on phone number provided ( he was suppose to be our contact person) for 30 minutes. Finally I emailed the office of Weekly Rents twice - finally got a call. We originally were scheduled to check-in at 10:30am, finally got settled in at 5:00pm.
Apartment very comfortable, A/C worked fine ( adjusted not to go below 17C ), WIFI was GREAT. Some noise off the street ( not cars, people noise since apartment location in HIGH end shopping area ), but when window closed - not a problem.
Be careful eating down the street to the right ( umbrellas in front on street ), at least one waiter not very honest ( was very willing to pocket extra $20E, when I miss understood what he said the bill was ). When my wife questioned me what I paid ( we realized the mistake ), upon confronting the waiter - he promptly gave me the extra $20E back. The food was pretty good, just be sure to get a written bill. The MacDonald's at the end of the street ( very nice inside ), opens at 7am every day - and has a very nice coffee bar ( with pastries/muffins ) separate from the normal food section.
We had a great time while visiting Rome and staying at this cozy and comfortable studio made it even better.
I do have to say though, the place comes with very bare minimum necessities that I think need improvement. For example, if a property is for rent with a minimum of 3 nights stay you would assume there will be at least 3 rolls of toilet paper available, well they weren't and by the time we realized there was only one roll we ended up having to buy a big pack of 4 and left the rest for others to use. Same with the kitchen; no paper towels, no napkins, no kitchen towels. I know it might sound like it's not a big deal but it is when you are just visiting a place for the first time and not even know where to find a grocery store to get such items it does become a big deal!
Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend this place, it is comfortable, clean and the location is amazing, I specially loved their window where a sat enjoying the sound of the city, the violin player outside on the street all while drinking some lovely Chianti!
Also I wanted to mention that Rafaelle who welcomed us was very nice and informative. Would definitely stay here again if even in Rome again! Thanks :)
My sister my best friend and I came to Rome for the first time and had a wonderful stay. It is a roomy studio with the kitchen and bathroom of to their own side. There is a huge window in the main room that has a great view that looks right out into the streets of the city and the apt has everything you would need. The apt was perfect and in such a great location of the city. We were able to walk everywhere our whole trip- all the main sites (colosseum, Vatican City, the fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon) and Trastevere, Monti and more. Emanuele was a great host. He was at the apt right when we got there and took the time to walk us through a map of the city, share with us the do and don’ts of Rome and showed us around the apt. During our stay he answered promptly to our communications. His hospitality was greatly appreciated. Prior to us arriving, Lucrezia provided us with all the information we needed and answered our questions promptly. I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Rome and recommend it for others as well!
You are in the heart of ancient Rome, a few minutes from the most important monuments of the Eternal City. The apartment is located in Via Sant'Andrea delle Frate, a few steps from the famous Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps). The elegance is without a doubt the main feature of the square. It is no coincidence in the three Vie Trident (Via del Corso, Via del Babbuino and Via di Ripetta) are concentrated stores of the most famous and exclusive designer labels. Piazza di Spagna, the framework offered by the ocher-colored buildings, Bernini's fountain and staircase on which stands the church Trinita dei Monti help to create a refined and eighteenth century. Former home of famous poets such as John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley, the square is now a cultural heritage of inestimable value. Located at the foot of the hill of the Pincio, Piazza di Spagna has always been the center of cultural life and tourism in the city of Rome. Nearby, Piazza del Popolo is definitely one of the most famous in the world. The twin churches of Santa Maria Montesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli, the Obelisco Flaminio (the oldest and the second highest of Rome), and the two fountains of Valadier help to create a charming atmosphere. And, yet, the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, built on the burial site of Emperor Nero, and his damned soul, and adjacent premises, which have become an integral part of the square and once frequented by people dear to the history of Rome as trilussa, Guttuso and Pasolini make Piazza del Popolo the cultural symbol of the 'Roman'. From here it is an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain. Before you get away do not forget to throw a coin into the fountain, you will ensure the return to the Eternal City. If you are in search of true love, perhaps of Italian nationality, throw then a second, a third, finally, to be sure to get married soon…
