This beautiful duplex penthouse apartment boasts spectacular panoramic sea views across the whole of St Ives Bay with it's own private terrace it is the perfect escape for both couples & families.
Internally the apartment is furnished to the highest standards and is complimented by local artwork. Property features include a gorgeous, bespoke hand crafted kitchen with French doors leading out on to a private terrace with sea views & a dining area with a Juliet balcony. A light & spacious living room & conservatory with French doors again leading out on to the terrace. A shower room & hallway with stairs leading up to a beautiful master bedroom suite & second bedroom with twin beds. The main family bathroom has a separate shower cubicle, bath, wc, & basin.
Externally there is a private, spacious terrace with incredible sea views perfect for Al Fresco dining, sunbathing or watching the sun set. There is also the added benefit of a garage with electric doors for an average size car.
Local Facilities: The nearest supermarket is a Tesco which is less than a 5 minute drive off the main A3074 road in to St Ives. There are also banks, hairdressers, a chemist, a post office newsagents and general stores all a short walk away. During the day when on the beach there is a cafe, shop and food outlet.
Attractions: A great location for couples and smaller families. Carbis Bay really does give you the best of both worlds. The peace and quiet of Compass Point yet only a short distance away from the vibrant town of St Ives.
Further a field Penzance, St Michael's Mount, Lands End, beautiful Sennen Cove (surfing), Padstow (cooking courses with Rick Stein), Port Isaac (filming of TV show Doc Martin), Newquay (indoor Water World), & St Austell (Eden Project) are all within easy reach either by Car or Train.
Other Activities: Live theatre, cinema, Tate Gallery, museums, bars, restaurants, clubs, and shopping.

Great apartment with stunning sea view
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay this beautiful two bedroom apartment in Carbis Bay. We found it to be very well kept and it felt homely. The owner is friendly and made us all feel very welcome. The sea view is quite stunning especially in the summer sun.
We would definitely consider staying here again at any time of the year.

We all loved the apartment, the view, and the train to St Ives is just down road.
The accommodation was very clean and well appointed, the roof conservatory offered wonderful views. A nice place to be, whatever the weather.

It was a joy to discover such a lovely apartment! Everything we could have wanted was provided and the balcony gave us the best view of Carbis Bay. We always looked forward to returning to the apartment after our days out. We will certainly be booking this apartment again when we next visit Carbis Bay.

This is one of the loveliest apartments we have ever had the delight to stay in. Superbly clean and very well appointed with everything you need. Great outdoor space to relax and take in the fab view of Carbis Bay. Secure apartment and with a parking space which is a real bonus. Cliff walking from the doorstep, beach a one minute walk from to doorstep, little train 30 seconds from the doorstep which takes you in/out to St Ives plus other places. Tesco is about 1 min drive away. Lovely fish and chips plus other places to eat in Carbis and lots to do and see in St Ives. Overall we rate this property top marks. Well done Lucy who is just a phone call away if you need her for anything. We will be back

Best way to see St Ives
We agree with what the other reviewers have said.
Suggestions: Leave the car alone for a week. Use the train and your feet. Rail connections from your doorstep to Penzance or Truro as well as St Ives.
Spoilt for choice for eateries: we enjoyed "Porthminster Beach Café" (more correctly a fine restaurant) and eating in at the more economic "Harbour Fish and Chips" - the only chippy with a choice of eight wines.
Only footsteps away from the South West Coast Path.
The property was spotless on arrival.
Nice touch: Binoculars to borrow in the conservatory.
Don't forget: Your favourite ground coffee for the expresso/latte machine.

A luxurious cornish retreat!
I almost don't want to give away the secret of this luxurious Cornish retreat, as I could very happily live there in a perfect world!
St Ives is a stones throw away from Carbis Bay and is buzzing with activity in the summer months and a peaceful escape in the winter. There's so much to do from the apartment; we've enjoyed beautiful coastal walking, surfing, wildlife spotting, the cosy country pubs and many a cream tea! In saying that, we are more than content just hanging out at the apartment curled up with a good book, as the rain lashes down on the conservatory or watching a film by the fire-the simple things we never get to do when we're at home!
We love coming to stay here, as the apartment is immaculate and so well appointed, unlike our cluttered reality! The interior decor is so stylish, with stunning original art work on the walls. The view and sound of the ocean is very special and after a fews days spent here, we feel like we've been on a restorative retreat!
A stunning, stylish, and luxurious penthouse in the fantastic coastal location of Carbis Bay. This superbly equipped accommodation is a part of the prestigious Compass Point complex which occupies a great position just a few minutes walk to the white sands of Carbis Bay Beach. The close proximity to the quaint railway station gives guests the option of leaving the car and taking the very popular tourist train into St Ives which takes just 3 minutes along a single track which follows a dramatic path along the coast. Historic St Ives is renowned for it's cosmopolitan mix of restaurants and cafes, art galleries, beaches and scenery and whether you are simply looking for a week on one of the many beaches or an energetic mix of surfing, golf, walking or diving there is something here for you!

The holiday deposit is non refundable & is charged at 1/3rd of the full rate & is payable with personal cheque or direct bank transfer (for non UK guests bank transfer only). The balance is then payable no later than 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Full rental cost is payable for bookings made less than 8 weeks prior. We also can accept online payments but please note the terms are slightly different with a 50% non refundable deposit due straight away and then the remaining 50% is due again 60 days prior to your holiday start date. Full rental cost is payable for bookings made less than 60 days prior. Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund.
