The house is powered by grid tied solar panels and has a woodstove for chilly nights.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen, large living room, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Please note, there is no TV, so if this is something that is important to you, understand that this place does not have a television.
Sunrise Suite has a queen sized bed, the window seat is a cozy sleeping nook for anyone who is less than 60" tall, a built in single bed in a private cubby that is big enough for an adult and small, private bathroom that is functional but not fancy. This room has French doors which open to the New River Gorge National Park that is mere feet away from the back deck.
The Sunset Suite has a queen bed and a built in, cot sized bed.
The Hideaway room has a single bed.
Bee Suite has a single bed.
Watch birds and deer from the house or the porch, kick back and relax in one of the hammocks. Feel like you are in the middle of nowhere only 3 miles from town.
Enjoy breakfast on one of the covered porches that run the length of the house front and back. The Arrowhead Trails come almost to the property line. Covered bike parking on the front porch, with plenty of room to work on your bike. Access 14 miles of prime single track as well as walk to climbing areas, historic sites and gorge overlooks without ever getting into your car. The location is half way between the put in and take out of the New River, so it is a great spot to stay if you are going on the river.
Fayetteville is listed as a historic town. It is a cute little town with great restaurants, antique shops and a beautiful courthouse.
The neighborhood consists of three dwellings, at the end of a dirt road, surrounded by park land. It is a nature lover paradise. The trails are right at the property line.
