Completely renovated duplex on the beach for 6 people

100 sq.m duplex, directly on the beach of the lagoon. Large panoramic 20 sq.m patio where you can enjoy the sunset, sheltered from the wind and with electric roller shutters. Living room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle), and a sofa. A master bedroom with king-size bed and a safe in the closet. Separate restrooms and bathroom with italian shower and a washing machine. Upstairs, large bedroom with 2 twin beds and 1 other twin bed, large bathroom with toilets and Italian shower.

Iron, an iron-board, and a vacuum cleaner.

Large flat-screen TV in the living room and Wi-Fi upon request at the hotel reception. Air-conditioning and fans in every room.

Airy and bright apartment. Located in a gated community, 2 swimming-pools (aquagym lessons in the morning), pub and restaurant (caterer option), water sports (kite-surfing, scuba diving, canoe, wind surfing, pedal boat, jet-ski, recreational fishing on the open sea, petanque, volley ball and water-skiing located two minute away if you walk on the beach of the Mercure Hotel.

Children's games on the beach, ping pong, deckchair at your disposal.

Car park down the building in the tropical garden.

End of stay cleaning included in the price.

Shops located 100 meters away : Supermarket, pharmacy, greengrocer, hairdresser, caterer, laundrette, medical office. Bakery/bar/creperie at the residence exit.

Bus stop if you want to go to Marigot (unique local atmosphere), but a car is advised to visit the island, enjoy its 37 beaches or go contemplate the amazing panorama of Saint Maarten's highest peak : Pic Paradise (424m).

After several stays in Saint-Martin as renters, we fell in love with this 100 sq.m apartment in a duplex and decided to purchase it. We spent 4 months there to do all the necessary work and then to enjoy it. It is truly a lovely place to live. It is perfect for 1 couple and 2 children or 2 couples with 2 children.

This place was wonderful. It looks exactly like the pictures. It was comfortable, quiet, convenient. The kitchen was unbelievably well appointed. To the point that I was making a salad one day and said, I wonder if they have a vegetable spinner, my friend said no way. First drawer I opened, a spinner. Beds were comfortable, the terrace was to die for (we spent most of our time at the unit, sitting out there). There were some spices available, coffee maker and espresso maker - with some coffee and expresso provided. The only things we needed to buy were food and alcohol. You could walk to a small grocer, there was a wonderful pastry shop right there and good restaurants in walking distance... There is even free, secure, wifi in the unit. Only things I would change (and not enough to drop the rating); if you're not fluent in French - you can only watch CNN and ESPN in the evening - all other channels are in French - it would be nice to have a couple entertainment stations in English. The downstairs Bathroom has no AC and the opening to the bathroom/bedroom downstairs has no door going from the living area. Since we were 2 couples, the bathroom door needed to stay closed when showering etc. A curtain, shade, or door to cover the opening to the bedroom/bathroom to allow the door to stay open for AC to come in would have helped keep the bathroom more comfortable when showering. We took cool showers, but the humidity would rise a bit too much - this was a nit, but I think it's a easy, inexpensive fix (a curtain), so thought I'd suggest it.

The best holidays/rental in Caribbean!

Me and my friend have stayed at Dany's apartment for two weeks in February 2014. We travel to Caribbean each year and it was the first time we have rented an apartment instead of booking a hotel - it was absolutely worth it and we considered it the best holidays in Caribbean we had so far!

From the beginning I have made an enquiry through the website Dany was very professional, all our questions have been answered very promptly and she has given us lots of detailed information re apartment/location.

The apartment itself look exactly like on the photos, it's absolutely beautiful and it truly felt like we were home during our two weeks stay. It has very well equipped kitchen if you fancy preparing your own meals instead of going to the restaurants, bed linen, lots of towels, beach towels - anything you may need on holidays is provided.

Isabelle, who manages the apartment, has been also very professional, she has organized a taxi to pick us up from the airport, helped with organizing the car rental and generally was always there for us if we had any questions/needed help. She has also provided us with the map of the island and shared her knowledge of best places to go/restaurants etc.

The location is perfect - we don't like the crowded beaches and the ones in Nettle bay were not were touristy, exactly like we wanted. There is a good choice of restaurants in the area, we would definitely recommend Happy's Bar (absolutely charming family owned restaurant - great lobster), Ma Ti Beach Bar & Restaurant, Dreams and Le Sand. The crepes from the little creperie near the complex are to die for, both sweet and savoury. The are two local shops with groceries, the smaller one just next to the entrance to the complex and another one, 100 m walk from the entrance, more expensive, however they have everything what you would think of.

All is all, I would definitely recommended Dany's apartment to everyone and will definitely rented again in the future.

An elegant, charming home away from home

I had a beautiful stay at Dany's apartment in St Martin - it was so perfect that I extended my holiday and stayed there for 2-1/2 weeks! It truly felt like home away from home - simple, elegant, thoughtful.

The apartment is as pretty as it looks in the pictures - new and tastefully renovated with modern decor and charming details (lamps, paintings, small details here and there that make all the difference). Very comfortable, and clean. It's perfect for two couples or a family since it has two spacious, beautiful bedrooms.

The location is perfect. Nettle Bay has amazing restaurants and pristine, not-so-crowded beaches. There is a bakery and a fabulous creperie right at the entrance of this property - the crepe with the home-made caramel is delicious! Marigot is 5 minutes drive, the dutch side 10 min. Grand Case 15-20 min. Very convenient, with a local flavor - not touristy at all. Nettle Bay would definitely be my preferred location in St Martin for my future visits.

Dany was very accessible and prompt in his replies to my many questions. Very warm and professional - it was a pleasure to deal with him and stay in his home. Isabelle manages the property, and she is wonderful. Isa gave me a good orientation of the island, shared her favorite things to do and restaurants to eat at. She was easy to reach by phone and texts and emails. She even arranged for my rental car and made sure my stay was comfortable.

I would definitely consider staying in this apartment again, and recommend it highly. Dany, Isa, thank you for making my first visit to St Martin memorable! I will be revisiting very soon :)

Un petit coin de paradis

Très bel appartement tout neuf, rénové avec beaucoup de gout et des matériaux de qualités. Nous avons passé en famille des vacances de rêve! Qu'elle plaisir de se retrouver avec nos deux Ados sur la terrasse et d'apéroter en silence en regardant le soleil se coucher...

Ce superbe duplex offre un hébergement de qualité avec une vue exceptionnelle.

Il ne manque absolument rien dans l'équipement de cet appartement qui permet de passer de superbes vacances. C'est même pour cela que nous souhaitons y retourner pour le Nouvel An 2016 et y passer une partie de notre hiver

The Nettlé Bay is ideally located in the French area close to several beautiful beaches: Red Bay, Plum Bay, Longue Bay and Mullet Bay (my favourite). It is only 2 km from Marigot, the French capital, with its 2 marinas and restaurants that specialize in local dishes (or others!). You can head to Grand Case for the nightlife and the many restaurants, gourmet or children-friendly; the Calmos Café is a must-see on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

In the Dutch area, you will find many casinos, night clubs and tax-free boutiques in Phillipsburg, the Dutch capital. You must also go to Sunset in Maho close to the airport to view the amazing sunset, and also to see the planes land over the large neighbouring beach. A show is guaranteed!
