Situated in the heart of the Valley de Belleville is the picturesque village of St Marcel which is a stones throw from St Martin de Belleville. The property is 10 minutes by foot ( 800meters) or a few minutes by car and accessible by free ski bus, which takes you directly to the main ski lift where you can access 600kms of skiing, renowned to be one of the largest ski areas in the world. This area provides a great variety of slopes of all difficulty levels, encompassing Saint Martin de Belleville and the skiing stations Les Menuires and Val Thorens. With 600 slope kilometres and 200 ski lifts spread over an area of 1400km2, provide best requirements for a versatile and relaxed skiing vacation, especially around Saint Martin there is a wide variety of beginner and practice slopes for starters and ski students. The resort of St Martin de Belleville and newly installed fast lift St Martin 2 gives you easy access to the 3 valley area of, Meribel and villages, Courchevel , La Tania, La Praz, Les Menuires, Val Thorens and Orelle, frequented by beginner and expert skiers.
You can also weather permitting ski back to the house off- piste via well know easy off- piste tracks.
However if you ski off- piste we strongly recommend you ski with a guide who will be aware of the snow, weather conditions and the level of risk.
The breathtaking mountain location which retains its traditional charm in this protected zone, offers rural French life at its best and boasts of the Famous 3 Michelin star restaurant La Bouitte (this restaurant is 2 minutes walk from the house), the Chapelle de notre dame and access to many walks and 28kms of cross country ski tracks also known as ski du fond are very close by. Starting from the car park in St Martin de Belleville, cross country skiers can visit hamlets of St Marcel, Chatalard, Paranger and Bettix.
This traditional Savoyard house built in 1870, is situated in the historical part of St Marcel. The property has recently been completely renovated using quality and local materials. Due to the location character and architecture we chose this house as our ideal winter and summer vacation home. The winter season offers ski in and out weather permitting. The summer season,the property is well place to visit by walking the many interesting cultural and historical places of interest.
What makes this House unique
One of a handful of traditional savoyard houses in a historical protected area. Newly renovated by the owners to a very high standard providing up to date facilities. The interior retains many original features including carefully sourced local artefacts that creates a unique style. The outside south facing sun terrace is close to a mountain stream where you can sit back enjoy the view towards Val Thorens and relax with the sound of rushing water. For a special occasion you can take a 2 minute stroll or an off piste ski to the famous 3* Restaurant La Bouitte and enjoy the fantastic food and wine from their extensive menu . Spa facilities are available to non guests. So relax and enjoy one of the many treatments available in this unique setting.

Comfortable and luxury village house
We really enjoyed our stay , 4 adults and 5 kids
Good size kitchen, well equipped.
All bedrooms nicely spaced.
Easy connection toward the trios vallees ski area, ski-in via the Saint Martin slope definitely possible if snow conditions allow.
High Standard Chalet
A nicely renovated Chalet, nice and clean rooms with good athmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped and all in excellent condition.
I really can recommend this place
We have just finished renovating this traditional house in the historical area. Our aim is to provide other skiers and families a luxury comfortable stay with all mod cons of 21st century, which include generous size rooms, en suites, boot dryer, log burning stove and much more. The fully equipped kitchen is aimed to entice those interested in food to be able to create a gastronome experience which is unusual in a ski house. The famous 3* Restaurant La Bouite is about 1 minute walk away from the property. We can even ski back to the property if the snow conditions prevail. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to you staying again.
A luxury property in a superb location
We were very happy with the accommodation, facilities, cleanliness and location; with only 7 minutes walk from the main ski lift: St Martin de Belleville and only 30 seconds walk to one of the best restaurants in the Alps we were very impressed. Already booking our trip for December this year!
The winter season hosts top class ski cross ,boarder cross competitions, and car racing on the ice circuit at Val Thorens.
Locally there are guided snow shoeing walks. Sleigh rides christmas week.
The summer offers La Bourgui cycling race 127k or 80 k and The Belleville Enduro mountain biking competition made up of special routes on the most beautifull tracks in the Belleville Valley. The 3 Valleys Addict tour 2000m downhill descent and the arrival of new events for all ages and all levels.
The Belleville Rally vintage cars, Beer Festival, and Bastille Day celebrations are among some of the attractions.
There are traditional village fetes where the traditional bread is made in the bread ovens.
A childrens play area is situated only metres from the house. Tennis courts, table tennis and Tree Top Adventure for children are only a short walk from the house.
The famous 3 Michelin Star Resturant La Bouitte minuites by foot and features a spa and wellness centre, sauna hot tub and massage facilities,
