We had three couples travel from all across the country to spend an extended weekend in Boothbay for a wedding. The home was clean and very well prepped for everything we needed and accommodated all of us very comfortably. Waking up every morning to the lobster pots being checked just yards from the dock was exactly what we had hoped for in our first Maine experience. The location was minutes from restaurants in town and provided the desired seclusion we'd hoped for in a private home. Ownership was a pleasure to work with in booking and I hope we someday get to come back!
Perfect cottage and amazing location on Linekin Bay. Cottage is close to town yet far enough away for complete peace and quiet. Dock is perfect for boating, kayaking, swimming off of, and fishing or just relax on the porch looking at the bay and lobsterman working near the shore. Already looking forward to returning in 2015.

Before we got there we almost drove the owner crazy - my husband wanted to know how many pillows, how many blankets, etc., etc. I don't even remember all the different things we e-mailed about, but once we arrived we were both delighted. It is large and comfortable with lots of character. If you like new, modern, perfectly decorated this is not for you but if you like lived in, homey, and spectacular views this is the place for you.
Truly lovely summer cottage. Family friendly cottage is lovely and has rustic charm. Amazing location... truly one of the best in the area! Such a quiet, safe location within a mile of town. Owners are VERY easy to work with and respond immediately. Wonderful, WONDERFUL location!!!!
We have stayed at Nimaha, as the cottage is called, in both 2008 and 2009 and have thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Whether it be relaxing on the chairs on the lawn reading a book or just gazing at the sailboats, this place is a wonderful way to recharge the batteries and forget the hustle of city life. Accomodations are typical for a Maine cottage with a nice fireplace for those chilly nights should one come along. Dining in for breakfast with a view of the harbor from the table is a lovely way to start your day. A lobster pound or restaurant is never far away since you're no more than a mile or two from town. Four of us have stayed here both times but the house can easily accomodate six or eight but not sure if I'd want to have that many there at the same time. The owner is very accomodating and responds to inquires quickly. I would recommend this cottage as a good value for both location and view.
Explore the coastline, boating, fishing, beaches; daily boat excursions out to nearby islands (Squirrel, Monhegan) and whale watching trips right from town; poke around lively Boothbay Harbor; buy lobsters at local lobster pound to enjoy a lobster feast at the cottage or eat right there overlooking the Harbor.
