Lovely gite well placed close to town centre and beach
We spent a very enjoyable week here having chosen it because of its convenient location.
The house, attached to the owners’ property, is set in an attractive garden and has off street parking. The terrace, where we were able to enjoy several meals during our stay, was particularly appreciated.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating and we’d be more than happy to return here in the future.

Saint Pol de Leon holiday
Great booking process and communication( Francoise speaks little English but we managed great) accommodation great set in lovely gardens. Location wonderful and centre only a few minutes walk away..would definitely return. Accommodation less than 10 minutes from Roscoff.
We have had a fab time and the property was brilliant and very good value for the money.
Our host was also great, would recommend to others.

St Pol de Leon
Excellent holiday house. The house is 100 years old, built of beautiful stone, but recently renovated to a very high standard. There is secure off road parking in the gated driveway.
The house consists of a ground floor of an open plan kitchen and living area with dining table, and a downstairs toilet. The kitchen is well equipped: large fridge with small freezer, 4 ring induction hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and extractor fan. Plenty of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Even has a teapot and a toaster: quite unusual for a French holiday home.
The first floor has a large double bedroom, and a good sized and modern bathroom, with bath and shower. All bed linen and towels are provided.
The top floor has a second bedroom, with two single beds. This is a good sized room, but has slanted walls into the roof so not for very tall people.
Outside, guests have a garden table and chairs on a tiled terrace, and a parasol and charcoal BBQ. There is a small lockable storage room off the terrace for storing charcoal, bicycles or beach equipment. This room also houses a washing machine. Electricity and gas are included in the price: water is extra, and worked out at under one euro per day.
The terrace is for the sole use of the renters, but the family owners are in the adjoining house. This was not a problem: they have their own BBQ area out of sight around the corner: the terrace is more or less private with the odd family member walking by in the garden.
The family are very pleasant, Françoise makes every effort to ensure the renters are happy. She has a few words of English and we have a few words of French, so managed to communicate quite well.
This house is literally about 100 mts from a very nice supermarket, with great local produce. It is a 3 min walk to the centre of St Pol where there are several bars and restaurants, and a 10 minute walk to a well regarded fish restaurant, and a wonderful one star Michelin restaurant, Auberge la Pomme d Api.
St Pol has a safe beach which is 15 min walk down the hill, but there is a fabulous, huge and wild beach at Kirfissien, a 20 min drive along the coast.
