I currently reside in Manhattan, but enjoy my home in the off-season when it's not rented. I own a home staging business where I help home sellers make their homes look their best in order to sell quickly and for the best possible price.
Donna - CyberRentals Member since May 2001 purchased this house in 2000
The Hamptons are a great location to be in - whether to live or to visit. I fell in love with East Hampton while living out there for a summer and working at a bed and breakfast to see if buying and owning a B&B was what I wanted to do. Well, I decided it wasn't for me, but I ended up buying a house out there instead. What is so great about it is that it is the perfect combination of New York City people, culture, restaurants and shopping AND some of the most beautiful natural scenery in this country: beach, bays, blue skies, beautiful hiking trails, and more. I love going out there all year round - the off-season in Fall and Spring are the best.
Dear Donna -- Thanks again, we enjoyed the house very much. What's wonderful about it is that it works for every generation -- the pre-teens love the pool, of course, it's clean and comfortable, plenty of space. Your kitchen is so well organized even my mother was impressed -- and she's the most organized person I know! Many thanks for making renting such a painless process. We are very interested in next summer, if it's available, and would probably take it for longer, so let us know when you start getting offers. Many thanks, Amy
Donna is a great communicator, responding quickly to all forms of communication. The house comfortably accommodated 6 adults and a well behaved 3 year old. It was clean and well-equipped and served our purposes nicely. We cooked three meals at the house and were never wishing for something that was not provided, including sharp knives, a garlic press, and plenty of cutting boards! We would definitely consider returning, especially when the pool is open.
my husband and I came for a fall weekend with our 5 month old and had an absolutely perfect time. The beautiful spacious kitchen is stocked with every appliance/utensil you could ever want. we cooked great meals and sat by the fire, had cocktails out on the great deck and slept well in the cozy bed. Donna is clearly a professional. she was very responsive and the house is immaculate, with everything you might want. highly recommend this house!!
The house was exactly as pictured and located close to just about everywhere you wanted to go in the Hamptons. We came out to relax and this was just the place to do it. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the pool everyday. Donna was super responsive and was readily available. The deck was great for group dinners. We loved it all!
This is a wonderful home for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. The home is wonderfully and comfortably furnished--great living room for hanging out, very comfortable beds and indoor and outdoor large dining spaces. My family and I had a great time here. Finally, a great pool area!
This was our family's first visit to the hamptoms. This house was perfect the location was close to the village and beach. We enjoyed the beautiful pool area, deck and open concept of the home.
The description of the home and amenities was perfect. This was a great place for a family vacation.
What a lovely home !! The property is nestled at the wood's edge with a very private pool surrounded by very pretty gardens. Inside the vaulted ceilings let in light. The kitchen overlooks the upper deck -- great for breakfast overlooking the gardens and pool. We are foodies and appreciated the very well stocked kitchen. The owner was easy to communicate with and has decorated her home elegantly. All of this and yet just a quick ride to all the buzz in downtown East Hampton. We will book again !!
Minutes away from bay and ocean beaches, this home is located in a quiet, woodsy upscale section of the Springs area of East Hampton, a town that combines small town charm with natural beauty as well as the sophistication of upscale stores and restaurants.Springs is known as the home of famous artists like Willem DeKooning and Jackson Pollack whose home is nearby and is open for tours. It's also close to the Springs Historic District with its charming General Store. The many things to do in the Hamptons also include antiquing, golf, tennis, fishing, horseback riding, surfing, windsurfing, hiking, boating, jet skiing, biking, kayaking/canoeing, viewing wildlife, historical sites, live theater and concerts.
