A Charming Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time at your place in Napa. It was a charming cottage and the location was wonderful. We were near Downtown which is always a plus!

I would definitely recommend this wonderful retreat to anyone interested in doing something other than a hotel. It was a refeshing change of scenery.

Cute and convenient

  • 3 of 5

The outside spaces at this very cute cottage looked very well put together and well tended. Unfortunately, we were there during mostly rainy chilly days and didn't get to enjoy the gorgeous back yard. There were a lot of great reviews for this place, and I can see how if you are not spending much time here and it is sunny, it's a great place to end your day. The eat in kitchen was well stocked and cozy. The living room was small and the heater, which is the only source of heat, is situated behind the sofa. I was really surprised how dark it was with only a couple of lamps. My real issue was the loft. Perhaps I am not used to this kind of bedroom, but I was downright afraid every time I went up and down, and I am a fit Impossible to take my suit case up, and really made me avoid going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I would imagine other guests have never mentioned this because they used the staircase that goes from the loft, outside, and into the kitchen. Since it was raining a lot and very wet on the uncovered stairwell, this didn't seem like an option.

The loft itself is GREAT! The bedding and mattress are high quality and the room itself is cute, with space heaters that were enough to warm us up. We stayed in another rental days before with the same issue. I think the owners of this property care about the appearance, but I can't see anyone under 10 or over 60 being able to safely go up that ladder.

Property was beautiful. House was just as cute as described

  • 5 of 5

Upstairs does not have a bathroom facilities and the stairs are a bit tricky at night. We are in our Early seventies so that was our issue and might not be an issue for most.

The rest of the house was well furnished and the beds were VERY comfortable. The outside patio and yard were beautiful. We highly recommend this house. The only problem is that it is not handicapped accessible and I don’t remember if it was noted in the rental.

Cute little Downtown Napa Cottage

  • 5 of 5

I just returned from my stay at the Frog Hallow House. We were a little hesitant to visit the area after watching reports about the fires on the news. The owner of the house, Soni, provided us updates on the fires and the air quality and even sent us pictures of the area. Despite what we saw on the news we kept our travel plans to Napa and I'm so glad we did!

The house is in a great area, nice and safe. The backyard is my favorite part about the house, it's absolutely adorable. The upstairs bedroom is a little quirky and not easy to get to for all but it worked out perfectly for me and my family.

The house had everything we needed and Soni provided easy check in/check out instructions. She also gave us good recommendations in the area. I will definitely stay in this house again.

Owner's Response: So glad you finally decided to come to Napa despite the tragic events before - and glad I could keep you updated on events as they happened. I'm even happier you had a lovely time and could enjoy everything Napa has to offer. Hope you come back again.

Charming cottage

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed recently for two nights while we were visiting the Napa Valley. The house was not only within walking distance to downtown Napa, but was charming with gorgeous landscaping in the backyard. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this cottage to any family or friends visiting the area!

Very quaint, beautiful house in Downtown Napa

  • 5 of 5

Were visiting Napa for two days of winery tours and stayed at the Frog Hollow House. Great location to get to downtown Napa for breakfast and dinner and really cute house with a gorgeous backyard for having a glass of wine in the evening. Everything inside the house was great and well taken care of. We had no issues and would definitely stay again!
