The property was clean and very nice and comfortable. Roberto was helpful by picking us up from the airport, showing us gelato locations and answering all the questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing rental in the heart of trastevere

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in this wonderful rental. We were in Europe for 3 weeks, Angela and Roberto were the most hospitable and friendly hosts we met. Also the location was amazing, the neighborhood has an eclectic selection of restaurants/bars as well as being super convenient to all the major sights either by walking, street car or bus. I also had the best pizza of my life at Bir&Fud, with over 50+ beers on tap, I would also recommend. Well appointed and perfect for 2 people, I would stay here again.

Very special experience!!!

  • 5 of 5

It is the first time that it happened to me that the place is actually better than the pictures and descriptions. Very charming, nicely decorated and perfectly clean, the place really overcame our expectations. I have absolutelly nothing even to suggest to be improved. Despite the apartment in located into a historical building (13th century or so - which was great to us) the facilities are modern and looks brand new. The location could not be better and a special mention should be given to Roberto which was a perfect host for us. The owners are very responsive, so you don't struggle with delayed e-mail exchanges. This is really a gem. Impossible to get dissapointed.

Excellent apartment for visiting Rome!

  • 4 of 5

This small apartment made a wonderful base for our visit of 3 days. The welcome from Angela and Roberto was warm and touching, and included a guided tour of the Trastevere area. There is a wide choice of restaurants and food stores within a few minutes walk. Twice we elected to stay "home" to eat, and had all we needed to prepare a good, simple meal. We were within about a 20 minute walk from the sites we had selected for our 3-day visit (Vatican, Forum, several piazzas and churches....) so getting around was easy. After wandering the rather chaotic streets of Rome during the days, it was a pleasure to return to our small island of peace, cleanliness and comfort in the heart of Rome. We were even able to park our car close by for 4 euros/day! Angela and Roberto were ready to respond to any needs we might have had. There were none, but it was a comfort to know that they were so willing. Highly recommended!

Great apartment

  • 4 of 5

Out stay was fantastic. Owners were extremely helpful and accommodating on our arrival. The apartment is very clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything we needed (pots, pans, coffee and espresso makers utensils etc.) The apartment is in a great location in Trastevere part of town. It’s close to the tram and bus and even close enough to sites for us to walk. Great apartment and great value. We’d stay here again if we get back to Rome.

Cute and quiet, wonderful location!

  • 5 of 5

We spent two weeks in this cozy little apartment. Roberto and Angela are warm, easygoing hosts. They pay a lot of attention to details, and they are very knowledgeable about the area. We didn't need to contact them very often, but they were always available when we did.

The WiFi, TV, etc. worked almsot perfectly. It was difficult to get phone reception inside (except for one spot which Roberto will show you) but it's fun to go out in the piazza and call your family/friends from there!

The area was a short walk to the Gianicolo hill, with great views of Rome. The neighborhood is quiet, and just a short walk to an open-air food market, bars and restaurants, and one of the oldest churches in Rome.

About 10 minutes of walking will get you across the river to piazza di Torre Argentino, where you can catch a bus almost anywhere. You can also walk to ponte sisto, a car-free pedestrian bridge that leads to the historical center of Rome. There's also a 30-minute walk to the Vatican along narrow cobblestone streets.

If you want to do a lot of site-seeing, bring an alarm clock. The only windows are in the bathroom and kitchen, and apartment is so quiet that it's easy to sleep late. Nothing will ever wake you up until you are ready to get up.

If you plan to do a lot of cooking you may be disappointed. The kitchen is tiny, and so are the pots and utensils. The apartment is brightly lit and very clean and comfortable, but there are no widows so sometimes it doesn't feel like you're really in Italy.

But hopefully you aren't coming just to hang out in your bed! This place makes an excellent home base for enjoying Rome.

Owner's Response: Ciao Jacob and Johana, how nice to receive your news. It was very exciting to meet you, you speak very good Italian. We were struck by the enthusiasm of Jacob to explore every corner of Trastevere and his desire to share his emotions with Johana. We hope to see you soon in Rome Angela and Roberto
