About Brent Crooks
Owners, Brent and Dianna
Brent Crooks purchased this Chalet in 2001
Why Brent Crooks chose Les Laurentides Regional County Municipality
This place is absolutely unique and quiet except for the sounds of nature in a majestic old growth forest, it is completely private on the lake yet 5 minutes to all stores. Great place for forest bathing, artists and families to enjoy. The architecture is very unique, it follows the contour of the land, climbing the hill, complete with an underground tunnel connecting the two cottages that includes a water fountain and private art museum.
What makes this Chalet unique
Centrally located between Montreal and Ottawa, totally private and secure yet close to all stores. It is convenient for a family to have a reunion, or vacation with their children and grandchildren. A large deck over the lake is the central entertainment area for sun bathing or fishing off the deck, with a dock to dive from or beach to walk in.

Wonderful weekend!
My family and friends rented the chalet for 2 nights and we had the most amazing and lovely time ever. We slept comfortably, all the amenities are great and everyone found something to enjoy: walks in the forest, fishing (yum trouts!!!), sun bathing by the lake... we have memories for life! Thank you Dianna & Brent!
It was a pleasure to have you visit our location, and happy to hear all enjoyed. Thank you for leaving our home In great condition we encourage you come back again!

Awesome weekend!
We had a great time at Brent & Dianna's property! We were a big group and we had plenty of space as the chalet is divided into three sections. When we got there, Brent & Dianna had made sure everything was ready (gas for the BBQ, battery fully loaded for the boat) and clean. They were kind enough to give us access to their small boat, mountain bikes and wood supply for the fireplaces. It was so peaceful to be in such stunning surroundings. Thanks again Brent & Dianna!
Bailes getaway
Generally very pleased with the whole thing. Had thought the separation of the two buildings would be unwieldy but it turned out to be a blessing as one family could have some time to themselves. Loved the beach area. A unique place where we had a fabulous time and created some wonderful memories. Downsides? Hardly any. The kitchen was "cosy" but sufficient, the boat was great and very user-friendly. The addition of a Canadian canoe and/or a sailing boat would enhance even more water-borne activities.
All in all, a fabulous place to "get away from it all! "
Ideal guests, loved having this family at our location.
Thank you very much for the wonderful review and the suggestion on the water craft.
Greatly appreciated.

Perfect weekend
Awesome!!
Absolutely amazing. 7 adults and 5 kids. Clean private lake- with life jackets kids had a blast jumping off dock. Clean well maintained swimming pool as well! Unique property with an interesting tunnel connecting the chalets. Excellent sleeping accommodations. We feel it is one of the best- if not the best-family time spent by all of us!!!Very very sad to leave.
Thank you Ann for such a nice review! We are happy you enjoyed the place, hope you return! We enjoy having nice families like yours.
Excellent
The property was perfect for a vacation. The house was well equipped, clean, comfortable, and very pleasantly unique. A big thank you to Brent & Dianna. Their response time to our only inquiry was immediate. All 3 generations enjoyed boating, swimming in the beautiful lake and pool. Jayne
