The flat is composed of a large living and dining area on the basement, a kitchenette and a lobby, very bright and with 16th century furniture. The first floor has a double bedroom with a 16th century four posters bed, 2 bathrooms and a single bed and a second one that can be arranged on request. On the third floor there is the master bedroom the third bathroom and the access to the terrace. The master bedroom has incredible beautiful four poster bed coming from the owner’s family Castel in Tuscany and so are all the different pieces of furniture of the entire flat.
The apartment is bright and with a lovely and quite canal view. The Terrace is very convenient in the good season. This flat is surely a perfect retreat for a long stay or for a romantic break.
The house was very clean with all amenities we required for our stay.We were met and taken to the property and given information re supermarkets, restaurants etc.
We were very pleased with the house and the service from Red House properties. Our deposit was returned promptly.
Would definitely recommend both the property and Red House rentals
All three of us agreed that our stay was really special. The house provided us a wonderful location near La Fenice and St. Mark's Square, and was a short walk from the San' Angelo Vaporetto. A local supermarket provided the opportunity for shopping and cooking at home, which we did a few times, along with enjoying our daily breakfast in the lovely dining area. There were many guide books and books on Venice made available, and it was a remarkable experience to enjoy 16th C. furniture, including antique beds, side tables and bureaus. The bathrooms were completely modern and well appointed, as was the kitchen. We did have a few minor problems over the course of the week, which were attended to by the staff and management instantly. Their immediate responsiveness, including a private cell phone number for the manager, was impressive, helpful and reassuring. We all recommend this property without reservation. A great experience!
Only one suggestion: it would be nice to have a few staples in the kitchen, such as salt and pepper.
Two couples travelling from Canada stayed in this beautiful, tucked away apartment in a lovely, touristy free area of Venice. The 16th century furniture really made us choose this spot and the apartment was decorated tastefully and all rooms surprisingly seemed larger than the photos. We felt like we were in a Shakespearean play! It really had everything we needed. Lots of space, close to everything, wonderfully equiped kitchen, guide books and an easy check in and check out.
We loved every minute of our stay. I'd recommend this lovely apartment to anyone. Just terrific!!!
we live with antiques and so the beautiful antiques made us feel at home and yet because they are Italian pieces, we had the thrill of tasting a bit of the ca rezzonico every day---the location was just perfect---a few steps from the stop san angelo and 10 minutes from st marks piazza---add to this the large grocery store a few steps away and a well priced restaurant also a few steps away and you have all anyone could wish.
the art is so beautiful that it was hard to imagine having it in a rental---it was a joy every day
the rooms were large and comfortable and everything one needed was there.
since it was summer we appreciated the ac which kept us all comfortable---with the heat, we did not really use the terrace
we h ad our 4 grandchildren with us----11,12, 14, 16 and it was an enchanted introduction to venice-----thank you with all my heart for making this magical time possible.
sincerely, Rebecca t hughes
The furnishings were beautiful and very comfortable. The location was easy as a home base with vaparetto stop so very close . The authenticity of the apartment created a wonderful memory for us and we look forward to returning!
