Park City Chalet Rental Photos and Description

Chalet, 1 Bedroom, 1.25 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)

WITH ITS MILLION DOLLAR VIEW, NEWER KITCHEN, AND TASTEFUL MOUNTAIN DECOR, YOU WILL NOT FIND A MORE ENJOYABLE ONE-BEDROOM RED PINE UNIT AT ANY PRICE. BEST VIEW IN COMPLEX and HASSLE-FREE DIRECT CONDO CHECK-IN.

Wake up in your Alpine bed to one of the most beautiful mountain views your heart will always remember. Looking out the bedroom and living room windows, you will see snow-capped mountain peaks in the winter, and painted ponies grazing on grasses and wild flowers in the summer. As skiers and hikers, we fell in love with the Canyons area in Park City and thus purchased a unit with the best mountain-resort view the Red Pines has to offer. Although other GOLD-rated units exist at Red Pine, ours is the only 1-bedroom Red Pine condo ever to receive a GOLD rating by ResortQuest, our former management company. Our low rates make this lovely 1-bedroom unit a terrific value...we are confident you will agree.

Enjoy comfy new Serta iSeries Hybrid mattress. Remodeled and upgraded, our unit features custom furniture, lighting, full-size appliances, lovely bedroom linens and window treatments. You will enjoy the original artwork, comfy leather sleeper-sofa (Deluxe Sealy Mattress) and futon love-seat with ottoman. Shimmering maple kitchen cabinets sit atop a great looking tile floor. The kitchen table can expand to seat 6 people. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare that gourmet meal, including a rack with over 16 spices!

Our chalet is very close to the Clubhouse and located a short 1-minute walk to the tennis courts, two pools (1 heated year round), large hot-tub, and laundry facilities. You can walk to the Canyons' Cabriolet (known as the 'People Mover') or take one of the FREE and frequent shuttles to the Canyons' lifts (we're at the base), Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort or Historic Main Street.

About The Owner

We are a family with a passion for skiing (scuba diving too!). After skiing Colorado for many years, we came to Utah and got hooked-- we have loved being so close to the airport, the champagne powder, and the world-class dining spots.

The Owner purchased this chalet in 2001

Why The Owner chose Park City area

We wanted a property with a mountain view from inside the unit, for example, while sitting by the fireplace. When we first entered the unit that we eventually purchased and saw the view we said, 'wow!', ignoring the fact that we would have to do a total remodel. Years later, we're still so happy that we chose to buy the unit we did, as we can say with confidence that it has the best view at Red Pine or at the Canyons for that matter.

What makes this chalet unique

Aside from great views, we are situated close to the pools and tennis courts. In the Summer, Red Pine is like a little country club. In the Winter, when we need to take a day off, we still get to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors through the living room windows and relax in the nearby pool and hot-tubs. Recently, we purchased a townhome in Upper Deer Valley to accommodate friends and the growing number of grand-kids. As you might predict, it also has great mountain views! (see vrbo 488629). HAPPY TRAILS!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Your lovely condo was a god send for us. We were here to buy a house in a hot market which made it very stressful. It felt sooo good to come back to this well cared for comfy 'home' in the evening. It's charming here...I want you to decorate our house :).The view is spectacular with all the fall colors out. It's been a joy for us to stay here...looking forward to meeting you some day.

Warmest Regards, Rosie and Doug from-Bend, OR, soon to be from Park City, UT!

Quiet spot with a beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

This is a quiet, serene place with a covered patio looking out at the wasatch mountains. Cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and lovely in the evening. Great bird life too. Comfortable condo with a great bed, and a very attentive owner in Terry. I would certainly stay here again.

Perfect!

So pretty, cozy, comfortable, and convenient. Owners ensure that you have everything you need for lots of towels and blankets to hot chocolate in the pantry. We will stay there every time in the future. Great value!

Magical Christmas

  • 5 of 5

We had a magical Christmas at the Red Pine condo. Sure the weather had a little to do with it as a huge snowstorm just passed before our arrival leaving 2 feet of untouched fresh powder at the condo making it a true winter wonderland. And sure it did snow ALL of Christmas day (a true white Christmas!), but the Red Pine condo sealed the deal.

Location

- 3 minute walk... even in the snow... to the nearest free shuttle stop. We took the shuttle everywhere with ease. We got to main street in 20 minutes, out to the movie theater in about 20 minutes, the trek to deer valley was a bit longer, but very doable on the shuttle

- 7 minute walk to the Canyons gondola for skiing/snowboarding

Amenities

- Kitchen was great! Had all the pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, knives, etc we could have hoped for!

- Check the condo and pantry before going grocery shopping as it had many of the items we bought before checking. Pasta, sauce, spices galore, foil, hot cocoa even... it was all there!

Communication

- Terry is wonderful to communicate with and very quick too. Never felt shady or uncomfortable.

We hope to return to Park City and would love to stay at Red Pine again!

Great location! Perfect Size! All you need!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I decided to bring our boys, 7 & 9 years old, to visit Park City for the first time. We were unsure where to stay and lucked out with Terry and Karen's condo. The Red Pine condo location is a two minute drive to the Cabriolet gondola. Park City and Canyons resort has been united with the addition of the Quicksilver lift, so a family can access all of Park City from the base of Canyons ski resort. Deer Valley is just a short 10 minute drive away.

The Red Pine condo was perfect sized for my wife and I and our two small children. The fireplace pumps out enough heat for the entire condo and the sliding glass window looks out onto the mountain. The Red Pine condo was the perfect location, perfect size, perfect accommodation for my ski family! We feel fortunate to have had this condo as our first contact with the Park City area.

Location, View, and Cozy to Boot

  • 5 of 5

This one bedroom one bath condo is in a great location away from busy streets and still close to ski lifts, Olympic park and shopping. The condo complex is well maintained and this unit is at the back with an awesome view of the mountains. The front door is maybe 20 yards from the parking lot and has 5 steps so wheel chairs or people with mobility challenges may find it difficult. The unit itself is cozy and well appointed with soaps etc. as well as quality paper products. It is comfortable, nicely decorated (perfect for a romantic weekend) and we enjoyed our stay so much that we are working on plans to return in the winter to ski...

Terry was fabulous. We pull a small trailer and although trailers are not allowed on the property, he found a place for us to put it. He was always available to answer questions if we needed it. He was knowledgeable, helpful, with a kind spirit... something you don't find much any more.

We had a wonderful experience.

We've been here more than once, will come back again

  • 5 of 5

My nephew and I took a snowboarding vacation and visited Park City for the first time in 2013. We stayed at this home and had a great time. Terry is a great host - attending to what few questions we had promptly. We returned in 2015 and again had a great snowboarding trip. The location of the unit is within walking distance of the Canyons cabriolet and now that they've merged with Park City Mountain Resort you really can't beat the location for winter skiing/snowboarding. The home is well maintained and well stocked. I really shouldn't be telling anyone about this gem as we're planning to return again!
