|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
The apartment is suitable for two adults with up to two children.
In the middle of the exclusive Carré d'Or, in a classic “Nicoise” house from the early 1900s, you find our cosy apartment with an extremely large terrace.
Our 40 square meter apartment is neatly renovated, has one bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a double sofa bed, bathroom with tub and shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace of 40 square meters - unique for the area!
With about 300 days of sunshine you will probably spend most of the time on the terrace. Relax in the sun in a lounger or in the shadow under the parasol in the lounge area, it’s a matter of taste. Also, the terrace has a dining table for 4-6 people, perfect for lunch or dinner at home.
If visiting during the right season you can harvest fresh fruit from the mandarin and lemon trees standing on the sunny terrace - or maybe one of the olive
My husband and I stayed in this apartment one week in May 2013. It was not our first visit to Nice, but previously we have always stayed in hotels. A friend told us about this apartment (they had stayed there last summer) and after reading the other reviews we decided to take a chance.
It was as good as promised! The apartment was easy to find and once there we were met by a nice woman (who spoke good English og dansk :- ).
The location and the terrace was the best. Staying in an apartment has its advantages, it was great to be able to make the breakfast “at home” and enjoy it on the terrace. We will defiantly choose this apartment over any hotel if we go back to Nice again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment at the beginning of October 2012. As the previous reviewers mentioned the location is very good in the middle of shops, cafes, restaurants etc. and the apartment so well equipped that you won't miss a thing.
Although the apartment does not have a sea view it has a large beautifully furnished terrace in where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch etc. or just relax.
This was the first time when we rented holiday apartment instead of staying hotel and were very pleased with our choice. The renting of this apartment was really easy and the owner was so helpful.
I can truly recommend this apartment too if you are a couple or a group of 2-3 friends.
We went to the flat for the first time in October 2011 and was overwhelmed. Now, coming back in July 2012, we just found that it was even better. Some new furnitures and a lot of new plants beautifies the sunny terrace. Everything in the apartement seems to be brand new and we didn't miss anything.
The location mentioned from earlier reviewers is outstanding and you reach most of the important streets in a minute.
Any suggests for improvements? Yes, we would have prefered seeview, but then for sure it would has been a bit more expensive...
Just a short walk away from everything you need, this place was an excellent choise for our weekend in Nice. In the center of the city, with all the necessities, such as wifi, ac, a huge terrace (!). A "Boulagerie" just around the corner gave us freshly baked croissants and baguettes for breakfast. Several great restaurants nearby, the beach and the train station just a 10 min walk away. It's a perfect place to rent if you want to just enjoy Nice or explore all the cool places around, such as Monaco, Cannes, Antibes etc.
Perfect for a couple or 2-3 friends who want to stay in the middle of everything.
I would definitely recommend this apartment, and I will definitely return.
We rented this excellent apartment in April 2012.
Thanks to the 40 m2 porch the apartment really feels like a spacious place. It is equipped with everything you might need and we didn’t miss anything. The kitchen is quite small but it has a lot of nice stuff squeezed in including dishwasher and espresso pods machine.
The location of the apartment is almost perfect. You have Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, restaurants etcetera within just a few minutes’ walk and a bakery just around the corner. The apartment is facing a backyard which isolates it from the traffic noise and gives extra privacy.
I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone intending on staying in Nice. Even though the apartment fits every age it will appeal more to romantic couples than families with small children.
The flat had everything that we needed, such as espresso machine, TV, DVD and washing machine. The terrace is especially worth mention. It was lovely to start the day with breakfast in the sun and perfect to conclude each day with a glass of wine in the couch.
Strongly recommend the flat and I hope to return some day.

Our apartment is located in Carré d'Or - the most central and exclusive area of Nice.
When you rent a holiday property, it is usually location and proximity to local attractions that are most priority. The estate agent Chez Riviera provides an excellent description of Nice city and to quote - 'With the Carré d'Or, it’s all about Location, Location, Location.'.
Within five minutes' walk you’ll be at the Promenade des Anglais (the beach), la Vielle ville (the Old Town), Gare Nice Ville (Nice central train station) or the main street Avenue Jean Médecin, where you’ll find all the established shops and department stores like Galeries Lafayette and Nicetoile.
Within 2-3 minutes' walk from the apartment there are two major grocery stores that are convenient for victualing - Monoprix at 42, Avenue Jean Médecin and an Intermarché på 8 rue Grimaldi.
In addition to the major supermarkets there are loads of smaller stores that are open late evenings and weekends - Little Cocci Market on Rue Maccarani is usally a safe bet if the rosé wine runs out at the wrong time ...
For serious shopping, Carrefour is the best option. In the center of Nice is Carrefour at 15 Boulevard Gén Louis Delfino easiest to get to (take a tram to the Acropolis).
Getting freshly baked and still warm baguettes or croissants for the morning coffee (or tea for you Brits) is easy and there is no more than half a minute's walk to the nearest local bakery Multari Liberté at 2 rue Alphonse Karre.
The apartment is 40 square meters and has one bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a double sofa bed, bathroom with tub and shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace of 40 square meters - unique for the area!
The apartment has everything to survive a vacation in Nice; wireless Internet, LCD TV, DVD, AC, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee and espresso maker, microwave, iron, etc..
The apartment is suitable for two adults with up to two children.
