A truly lovely, air-conditioned comfortable 4th floor apartment (with lift). Very centrally located, about 700 metres from the Colosseum and within easy walking distance of most of the major sights.

The apartment has 2 large bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space. One has a double bed and the other has two singles. The lounge has a double sofa bed. There are two completely modern bathrooms. One has a shower, the other a Jacuzzi bath. Both bathrooms are accessed from the hall/corridor. Also, there is a fully equipped modern kitchen which has a dining table, breakfast bar and is very comfortable as a second social area. The apartment is attractively decorated, welcoming and light.

The apartment is situated on the 4th floor with a lift. Though in the heart of Rome, it has double insulated windows. The inhabitants of Monti claim to be ‘genuine Romans’ and its lively atmosphere, local craft shops, restaurants and trattorias offer the visitor a wide choice that caters to varied tastes and budgets right on your doorstep. Local food and vegetable shops and supermarkets are close at hand.

The apartment location, Via Giovanni Lanza, connects with Piazza Vittorio at metro line A ( 200m, metro stop Vittorio), Via Cavour at the metro line B (450m, metro stop Cavour ) and walking to the Colosseum is about 700m , through the Colle Oppio on the back of the Colosseum/Forum.

Very clean and spacious apartment that felt like a palace!

After arriving from a cramped hotel room in Sorrento, this apartment was a dream-come-true for our family of four! It was bigger than we expected and really did feel like a palace. It was spotlessly clean (and I am very particular about cleanliness), and it was nice to be able to come back at the end of a long day of sightseeing and just relax in a comfortable space. Having the washing machine was a huge bonus! We did have an issue with having no running water the next morning, but this was because they were working on something on the street which affected the water supply to the apartment, and it lasted only for a short time. We had no other issues with water after that. Also, the wifi signal in the main bedroom is very weak (almost nonexistent), but it is very strong in the rest of the apartment. My 12-year-old son had trouble sleeping the first night because of the street noise, but he slept fine after I gave him some good ear plugs. Overall, a great place to stay in Rome! Patrizia was wonderful to work with and we would stay there again!

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment! Location was great, it was an easy walk with luggage from the Termini station, Guilia was waiting for us on arrival and made the check-in very easy. Great location to easily catch the metro from both the Termini and Cavour stations to go everywhere we needed to go, as well as a very easy walk to the Colliseum and related sites. Both bedrooms were very large, and entire apartment was comfortable and spacious, would definitely recommend to anyone site seeing in Rome!

Very Nice!

I travel to Italy a couple times a year and have rented several apartments in Rome. I really like the location of this apartment because it is right in the centro and yet away from the maddening crowds that engulf the more touristy areas of Rome, i.e. Campo Di Fiori, Piazza Navona , Piazza De Spagna. The Metro is a block away and Via Merulana has lots of great restaurants that are frequented by Italians....always a good sign.

We will most certainly rebook this apartment on another visit and I can't say that of most places I've stayed!

Roomy and affordable

Great location close enough to major sites (25 minute walk to Spanish steps) but far enough away to have affordable meals and get away from the insane crowds. Patrizia and her daughter were welcoming and very helpful. The apartment is roomy with high ceilings. They have amassed a helpful binder of how to get around and where to go but I suggest dropping your stuff turn right out the door and start walking. Charming apartment with nice kitchen space.

A beautiful apartment in a central location !!

We all absolutely loved staying in this apartment very spacious with everything you need and fabulous restaurants on your doorstep!! We found the short stroll into the city easy to do and really enjoyed visiting the Roman forum and the colluseum amongst other tourist attractions. The owner Patrizia is most helpful and arranged cars for us to and from the airport which with two children was fantastic ! Thank you we hope to be back soon .
