Pied-a-terre (Ixora 3) (one of 4 on this listing) is located on the ground floor for easy access. Sliding doors open onto the large patio equipped with furniture for 'Al Fresco' dining. The American style kitchen / lounge has stainless steel appliances equipped with a sofa bed, cable TV and wi fi. An extra refrigerator has been installed. The bedroom has a queen size rattan bed, fitted wardrobe (Tommy Bahama furniture) and bathroom with shower.

This boutique style development with modern flair is situated in Jamestown Park, Holetown, in the heart of Barbados' west coast. The apartments are only a 4 minute walk to Settlers beach; also within walking distance is the very upscale shopping complex Lime Grove, where you can find the finest high end retailers, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and a cinema. The apartments have been built with the emphasis on outdoor living, with open-plan spaces and full-width sliding doors leading onto large private patios, in addition to a shared swimming pool on site.

The apartments come equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. The double bedrooms have air conditioning, additional ceiling fans and a wardrobe. The American style kitchen and living spaces, also suited with ceiling fans, means you'll have a comfortable space to enjoy TV and WiFi. Best of all is the private outdoor space: the large patio comes with a dining table and four chairs, as well as lounge chairs and a drinks table for your pleasure. We look forward to your stay!

Things to do: Atlantis Submarine, Tall Ship Cruises, diving, swimming with turtles, moonlit walks across the beach. Visit Harrison's Cave, stalactite and stalagmite formations in an underground cavern only explored in the 1970's, or explore the Barbadian Sugar Plantation Houses, and visit the Flower Forest and Orchid World. Alternatively, have a fabulous lunch or sunset dinner cruise on the Harbour master or Tiami sipping rum punches whilst enjoying a fabulous sunset, or opt for a pirate cruise on the Jolly Roger. If you prefer a land based restaurant, then you could visit some of the spectacular restaurants that are to be found on the island, these include the renowned Tides restaurant, Calabaza and Fish Pot restaurants. Life does not get better than romantic candlelit dining at the sea's edge at these spectacular restaurants, all within walking distance of our apartment. We have 2 daughters, one now qualified as a nurse and the other an Occupational Therapist, so hopefully now we will be able to spend some more time in our lovely apartment!

Brand new (5 YEARS OLD)with contemporary furniture and a large patio for 'Al Fresco' living. Gated community with secure entry, friendly neighbours and many wildlife to watch, including the green monkeys you can often watch stealing the bananas!

This location was absolutely perfect for us. We really love to experience the local beaches, markets, restaurants and night life. Ixora (#3) has all of that plus more... all of this within a 5 minute walk. We love to stay in really nice,well equipped, newer apts.... again IXORA #3 EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! The sliding glass doors from both the living area and bedroom basically double the living quarters whenever your heart desires to open them up. For us only when we decided not to visit the awesome local restaurants.. We were down with family so it was perfect for the few stay home evening dinners we hosted and also the couple of times entertaining by the pool. Just Awesome! The cupboard space, the 2 refrigerators and the dual purpose washer and dryer makes longer stays (2 weeks for us) much easier! especially if you like to cook... It has a brand new cooktop and oven! Everything about this place and our stay in it was well....Fabulous! Sleeping quarters....once again awesome...Both my wife and I felt like we were at home on our king size most Comfortable!~!! Comfortable bed and matress.... Wow~ Great Sleeps! Well I guess it now comes down to the dealing with owner... Again you will not find a better person to deal with. Ruth made every part of our vacation so easy. She goes above and beyond to ensure your vacation time in IXORA #3 in Holetown the best experience ever!!! and we really mean this. She arranged to have us picked up from the airport, ensured that we knew which places to sit on the beach, recommended the best beach bars and how to get to there, the local restaurants, the fresh markets and on and on. She was so easy to contact, she even kept in touch to ensure everything was good and arranged our ride back to the airport. Well we could go on but I am just going to say this. Stay here ( except when we want it!) You will LOVE IT!..5/5..... from the greeting by the monkeys on the road to our last dinner with really nice folks down the street....AWESOME VACATION! THANK YOU! We will return!!! A definite 5 Experience for Us! We would recommend this place to everyone!

....aaaand relax!

The photos of pied-a-terre on this site lure you in with snaps of fresh, well-appointed rooms, mod-cons and comfortable living. I was not disappointed! I stayed for a week and very much enjoyed both the apartment itself as well as relaxing by the pool.

Key collection and check-out ran smoothly, the apartment was very clean, and linen was all of a good quality.

The location of the apartment provides you with the flexibility and freedom to explore Barbados' many beaches and beauty spots.

Personal favourite past-times include happy hour at zaccios (4-6) while watching the sunset, lunch at Mullins beach bar, and a morning walk along the beach at Barclay park on the east coast.


(Oh and keep a look out for the monkeys and fire-flies!)

Just what we wanted

Pied-a-terre was perfect in every way, beautifully decorated with some lovely pictures, it was very comfortable throughout, kitchen had everything, including 2 fridges, bottle opener on the wall, ipod docking station. The bedroom was great 5 ft wide bed with plenty of hanging and drawer space.

Shower room was compact but good, with some nice touches. Lounge was as per the photos, but are favourite was the patio, some lovely furniture which was very very comfortable for those relaxing evenings. Pool area was immaculate with plenty of beds and chairs.

The admin stuff was professionally and promptly dealt with by Joan.

Ixora 3 is close to the beaches and Holetown but very quiet, it is a truly lovely apartment and I would recommend it to our closest friends,

A Jewel on the West Coast....

We just had a vacation here at this precious new boutique style condo... and what a special place to be! The apartment was beautiful! It had everything we wanted. It was furnished to the highest standard. It is clean, comfortable and very relaxing! No car necessary! Gorgeous west coast beaches, the shops at Lime Grove (duty free) and so many great restaurants to choose from. The food was excellent. Water sports galore available. We are looking forward to going back again very, very soon.

Holetown is approximately a 35 minute drive from the airport. In the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants, bars and a very fine bakery/patisserie. The centre of Holetown is about a 5 minute stroll from the apartment and include multiple shops, banks, post office, police station etc. The newly opened Lime Grove Lifestyle Centre is a fabulous oasis in the centre of Holetown and showcases many designer boutiques including Ralph Lauren, Armani Exchange and Breitling to name but a few, stylish coffee shops, bars and restaurants allow for relaxation whilst browsing, The centre also incorporates a gym and beauty salon to rejuvenate even the weariest shopper. The shopping mall has a coffee area, small duty free Cave Shepherd outlet, a well stocked supermarket, Internet café and boutiques. An additional walk of 5 minutes will bring you to a larger Cave Shepherd Duty Free shop.

There are numerous bars/restaurants within walking distance for a variety of budgets. There are restaurants specialising in Italian, Indian or Thai as well as traditional Bajan food.

The island has the relatively tranquil Caribbean Sea on the west coast and and on the east coast the invigorating Atlantic Ocean.
