Awesome lake home!

  • 5 of 5

What a Great Lake house! From the moment we arrived the house felt like home. It fit our family of 17 with rooms to spare. We all had a great vacation, hiking, swimming and kayaking around the lake. Went into Bethel for dinner and had a great time. If we all go on a lake vacation again would not hesitate to rent this house again. Perfect in every way!

Phenominal in every way !!

  • 5 of 5

Very easy to write a review for this gem of a property. The home itself has that incredible comfortable feel that's almost to difficult to describe. Whether your curling up on the huge comfortable couch, sitting on the deck admiring the lake, around the firepit with friends and family or crawling into bed in one of the many private bedrooms........everything gives you that " this is just what I needed feel " !! We were a group of twenty something family members gathered for our matriarchs 90th bday........babies, college kids, recently graduated adults and a bunch of.........let's just call us " older adults " !! What could have been a chaotic, crowded couple of days.......which I think was my only worry, just never, ever, even came remotely close to happening. Huge lower level with an extremely comfortable living room area with equally as huge fireplace, a very ample kitchen for prepping the biggest of feasts, loads of dining space, a pool table, ping pong table, piano, loads of bedrooms and bathrooms !!!!!.......and we haven't even ventured outside yet. The lake itself is pristine......gin clear water with the immediate entry into the lake being nothing but soft, white, sand. Enough canoes and kayaks and other flotation devices to outfit your own armada and gain you entry into every nook and cove the lake has to offer. For the fisherman, there's Brook Trout, Landlocked Salmon and Splake to try your luck on. A good sized dock to sit and relax on or take a quick swim out to second floating dock and admire the spectacular sun sets behind the rock faced mountain across the lake then retire to the fire pit to end your day...........honestly......quite perfect. A bunch of us in our party have been lucky enough to have done some extensive traveling and I thought there might even be a few complaints ( as you know how people can be ) but absolutely everyone not only was in agreement that this little chunk of heaven was deserving of five stars but the overall consensus was that we should do this more often and wouldn't even consider looking any further. Thank You Chris for sharing your home with us !!!!........we would really like to do this again sometime.

Maine Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We planned for over a year for this family vacation and Chris was super in helping with all the details and questions! The house is a great camp style home for large groups. Plenty of indoor/outdoor activities. Access to the lake is great with a nice beach are for bonfires/picnics. The water to the house is supplied by the lake as are all the homes in that area. Bottled water is needed and large containers for filling are readily available. Our biggest drawback was from the neighbor who was obviously tired of 'company' and allowed his dog to bark nonstop and run free. Everyone else in the area was very nice. Plenty of dishes/pots/pans. Coffee pots and crock pots need some attention. Cleaning crew on Sat do a great job and were very accommodating! More than happy to stay again!!
