Beautifully renovated, keeping the original oak beams and quirky brickwork
About Jane Mottram
I am a silver surfer, a granny to 9 beautiful grandchildren and, some say I am also a witch. My passions and hobbies include baking and cooking (spells of course!), design and painting and renovating furniture, hence the design of the accommodations we have.
Why Jane Mottram chose Burton upon Trent
This property has so much character and history and yet it is warm and bright and peaceful. You can't help but feel relaxed and happy within its walls as they have been protecting people for many years.
What makes this House unique
Being a listed building it has retained most of its original features and the renovations have been added around them, incorporating them into the design. It is in such a convenient position for everything from fast food restaurants, cinemas, shops and supermarkets to the river and the countryside of the surrounding area.

Family weekend to Thomas Land
Perfect place to use as a base for our trip to Thomas Land (Drayton Manor). Clean, nice decor, equipped with most of the things you could need for a weekend away, enough space for 2 young families. Bottle of fizz, water and coffee pods on arrival a lovely touch. Would recommend.
Comfortable and spacious.
A smart, secure property. Beautifully decorated and styled.
10 mins walk to town but Aldi directly opposite for essentials.
Owner Jane was really kind and helpful.

Directly opposite is the National Brewery Museum with its local history information and theme nights. Tutbury castle is within easy driving distance for those who love history.
