My husband and I spent 3 days at this lovely apartment. Everything was as described in the listing, including the strong wifi and the washing machine. We were able to do 2 loads of laundry and hang them out on the tiny balcony. The apartment was beautiful and so centrally located to everything in Florence. We could visit a museum in the morning, come home for lunch and a nao, and go back out. The kitchen and bath are small, but that is normal for a city apartment. Tiziana met us on the street in front of the apartment even though our train was late and showed us how to use everything. The only suggestion would be to add an american coffee machine as we ended up buying coffee on the street every morning. We would definitely stay here again!
This apartment was in a great location to see all that Florence has to offer. Our meeting to see the apartment and keys was very timely. The charming apartment felt like home. It is located on a quiet street with stores and other apartments. The apartment was stocked with all the basics for cooking. Thanks for the great time in Florence, looking forward to coming back.
This beautiful flat appears exactly as represented in the listing, and is perfectly located for exploring the wonders of Florence. Our check-in experience was delightful; we were greeted with genuine warmth, and provided with valuable recommendations for eating, shopping, and finding out-of-the way corners of the city. The flat was clean and appointed with all the necessaries for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything you would need for whipping up delicious meals, and was a delight to work in. We loved our time here, and would absolutely return to stay in this flat. In fact, we are already beginning to plan our return trip!
The apartment -- wonderfully located a one-minute walk from the Arno in a central neighborhood of high-end shops on clean, traffic-free streets -- is quiet, cozy, and well equipped.
Perhaps the best thing about it, though, is the owner. The day we were to leave Florence by train, a one-day strike cancelled most trains. Tiziana informed us of this and spent hours investigating alternatives and taking us to the train station to guide and translate. When she found a solution that might have gotten us to our destination, she nevertheless advised us not to try it, as too much could go wrong. Instead, she invited us to spend another night in the apartment, without charge, and leave the next day. Things go awry on vacations, and dealing with a kind and generous person like Tiziana can be the difference between ruination and recovery.
Two negatives about the apartment: If you are considerably larger than the average person, you will find the small shower stall challenging. If you want to prepare elaborate meals, you will find the small kitchen challenging.
I rented this apartment for 2 months in the summer of 2014 while I was in Florence conducting archival research, and it was perfect. The property is lovely- directly in the heart of the centro storico, right off the lovely Piazza Santa Trinita, placing very close to the river and to the Piazza della Signoria. The apartment is comfortable, light-filled, and homey, with a clean and modern bathroom. The sofa has a pull-out bed, which a number of my friends used and reported that it was comfortable. The kitchen is small but gets the job done. Tiziana is an excellent host, very personable and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment, especially for tourists who want to be in the heart of the sight-seeing action.
Tiziana's apartment is lovely and so convenient for everything in Central Florence. You are never more than about a 10 minute walk away from anything in the city, which is so useful. The apartment is small but cozy, and very quiet and located on a lovely street which was very easy to find. Tiziana was great at communicating with me before I arrived and made sure everything was set out. There is wifi in the apartment too which is very useful. Loads of shops and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend staying here.
Lovely apartment located in the ancient heart of Florence between via Tornabuoni and Piazza Signoria, under the corner you can find the most interesting places such as Palazzo Strozzi, Ponte Vecchio, Arno river, Piazza Signoria, Galleria degli Uffizi. This is one of the most desirable areas in Florence (within a few minuts walking from the train station Santa Maria Novella).
The apartment is on the first floor of a central building. It is quiet and it has got all conforts. Entrace into an intimate living/dinning are with TV, table for 4, sofa-bed, kichenette with 3 burners, fridge, MW, duble bed room with small balcony, bathroom with shower stall and washing machine. AC.
The neighborhood has everything you need. Typical shop, luxury shop, restaurants
