A spacious lower ground apartment in a converted Victorian house. 1 bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, storage cupboard, living room with sofa bed (1.29m wide mattress), dining table + 4 chairs, fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, bathroom with WC, shower/bath and private patio. The apartments is located between South Wimbledon and Wimbledon giving easy access to the restaurant, pubs, bars, theatres and shops in Wimbledon/ Wimbledon Village with excellent transport links to central London (trains and underground). Parking can be arranged subject to availability at no extra cost.
The apartment is a great place whether you want to stay local to Wimbledon, explore London or travel further a field. The apartment is situated between Wimbledon main line/underground station (District line) and South Wimbledon underground station (Northern Line). Waterloo main line station is only 20 minutes by overground, which gives you easy access to central London. South Wimbledon underground is 32 minutes from Moorgate (the City). There are regular bus services to Kingston, Putney, Morden & Clapham. In central Wimbledon / Wimbledon Village you have a wide range of restaurants, pubs, cinema, New Wimbledon Theatre, Polka Theatre, shops including Centre Court Shopping Centre. There are many green spaces near by; Wimbledon Common, Putney Heath, Canizaro Park, Morden Hall Park to name a few, other local attractions include the All England Tennis club and Museum, Merton Abbey Mills. For the kids there is Dean City Farm, Chessinton World of Adventure, public swimming pool. You can get around very easily on public transport whether you want the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, Covent Garden, the tourist attractions such as Buckingham Place, Tower of London, the London Eye, Hampton Court Palace, West End Theatre, The South Bank, Art Galleries, Museums, Kew Gardens the possibilities are endless. Wimbledon is in Zone 3 and South Wimbledon is in Zone 3 & 4 for public transport. If you want to travel further a field by car such as to Wisley Gardens, Windsor Castle, Legoland (Windsor), Boxhill there is limited (restricted) car parking available. This needs to be arranged at the time of booking and is subject to availability (no extra charge).
This property is just the spot for a couple who want to stay out of the bustle of central London but still within easy contact of all the sites. There is a choice of two subway stations close by. There is a big choice of eateries and several supermarkets within easy walking distance.
The property is spacious, clean and thoughtfully provisioned with equipment for cooking. The shower is good and the bed is very comfortable.
Last but not least, Seneka and Mary are pleasant, obliging hosts. You will be met and guided round the flat where everything works to perfection. Help is at the end of the phone if needed. We thought this property was a great place to stay.
Very nice and well kept place. Conveniently located in the middle of two tube stations (Wimbledon and South Wimbledon). It is a quite place with plenty of stores in the nearby. Senaka and his wife were very kind to us, which made our stay mor enjoyable.
Every thing was perfect. The owner is nice. The flat is very clean and functional. We will come back if we can !
Sehr nettes und optimal eingerichtetes Apartment. Von Heathrow in 60 Minuten erreichbar. Durch zwei Tubelinien sehr gute Anbindung zur Stadtmitte. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Supermärkte haben auch am Sonntag geöffnet.
Senaka ist ein sehr netter Vermieter und es gab keinerlei Probleme während unseres Aufenthalts.

As soon as we walked into the apartment with my family especially the kids loved the place and we were convinced we made the right choice. everything worked, all we needed was in place and the tube and bus stations were close by and is a very safe environment. Senaka and mary are very nice and helpful, we would definitely love to stay in this flat again
