Sevierville Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

***This cabin is rented by the owner directly. When you email or call about the cabin, you will be speaking directly with the owner- not a management company. We know more about our cabin than any management company ever could. We visit regularly and enjoy sharing our vacation home with you. We are responsive owners who answer inquiries/emails quickly and attend to our guests' questions and concerns to help make their vacation the best!***

Our photos are up-to-date. They were taken in June 2013 with new ones of the exterior taken in early August 2014. The sofa and club chair were replaced December 2015, so the photos don't show the new furniture (yet!). We love the updates, and know you will too!

We have been renting by owner since December 2006. During that time, we have met so many wonderful people who have stayed at our cabins. We try to add a personal touch and are attentive and responsive to guests. We strive for guest satisfaction and want our guests to come back again and again. We are now seeing our guests return time and time again to stay at 'Away From It All'.

Easy to get to! Only a few steps to enter cabin- great parking!

We work very hard to keep the cabin in great shape for our guests. Please read through our guests' comments to see what our guests are saying about this cabin. Our guest comments are one the things that sets this cabin apart from others. We think our guests' comments speak for how well the cabin is maintained and how clean it is.

Since our family stays at the cabin often, we have added extra touches that make this cabin a home away from home- not just a cabin rental. Also, check out our guest comments about how clean the cabin is. Our cleaning person takes great pride in making sure everything is spic and span and our guest comments show that it doesn't go unnoticed. While no cleaner is perfect, our ladies work really hard to make sure the cabin is spotless for your stay.

Have you searched through tons of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg cabin rentals by owner? Stop looking. You've found the best cabin! We rent 2 cabins by owner in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area and work very hard to make sure your stay is the best it can be. We have a local maintenance and cleaning company who help us keep the cabin in tip-top shape.

Convenient to all area attractions, Away From It All, is the perfect spot to spend your Smoky Mountain vacation. The cabin is private and easy to get to- paved roads all the way. It is less than 7 miles to Dollywood's entrance. The cabin has easy access for older adults or small children- just four steps to enter with the top step only being about 2-3 feet off the ground.

The large parking area will even accommodate a motorcycle trailer. If you are looking for convenience, this cabin is for you. The Arts and Crafts community is within 15 minutes. Dollywood, Dolly's Splash Country, Dixie Stampede, The Old Mill, Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountain Park are also within 15-20 minutes. You actually pass the trolley entrance to Dollywood when driving to the cabin. The new LeConte Center is 7.2 miles away.

Inside, it is cozy and comfortable for couples or a family. The black bear theme makes you feel right at home in the mountains. Several guests have said their children wanted to spend the whole day at the cabin instead of visiting area attractions! If you need a restful retreat after a full day of vacationing, this is the cabin for you.

The all wooden interior shows wonderful craftsmanship. The downstairs master bedroom boasts a king-sized log bed, jacuzzi tub, and full private bathroom while the upstairs loft area has a queen-sized log bed and another full bathroom in addition to the pool table.

The loft area is perfect for children or another couple since it's equipped with another TV and another full bath. Teenagers especially love having this space of their own for entertainment. We added an extra TV set up with a PlayStation 2 and about 20 games in the summer of 2010. Upstairs, a catwalk leads you from the loft area to the upper deck where the hot tub is located. You can enjoy the moonlight in complete privacy- even in your "birthday suit"!

Two of the decks have rocking chairs for resting and reading. Also there is a table and chairs for meals outside enjoying the quietness of the area. An outdoor gas fireplace was added in November 2010. The cabin is built on a one-acre lot and is in an area where you can sit on one of the three decks and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Outside, there is a small yard area and a large covered b-b-q grill which is large enough for family grilling. With every amenity you could possibly need, it's the perfect spot to get 'Away From It All'!

This cabin is non-smoking and is NOT PET FRIENDLY- we cater to guests who do not want to stay in a pet friendly cabin. We do not allow any pets- no exceptions.

About Lisa Faust

Hi! We're the Faust's- a family of 4. My husband and I, along with our two sons, live in a small town north of Birmingham, Alabama. I just retired after 26 years of teaching elementary school and started a new job with the Alabama Education Association and my husband, Neil is a farmer. Our oldest son is in college and our youngest son just received his diesel mechanic certification from a technical college and is working at my dad's family business.

Lisa Faust purchased this cabin in 2005

Why Lisa Faust chose Tennessee

After owning vacation rentals on the Gulf Coast of Alabama since 2000, we experienced Hurricane Ivan in September 2004. Our condo was out of commission for about 7 months, so we decided to sell and buy in an area where we didn't have to worry about hurricanes. We live about 6 hours from the beach and about 4.5 hours from the mountains, so we decided to find a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. There are so many family activities in this area, we knew we would enjoy having a vacation home here.

What makes this cabin unique

Away From It All is in a quiet and serene area. You feel like you are away from all the hustle and bustle of the Pigeon Forge area, but it's close enough to drive to any attraction or even back into town to eat dinner or pick up groceries- it's the best of both worlds. We stay at the cabin frequently and have tried to make it a home away from home.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We used the cabin to get away from it all. We had a wonderful time. This weekend Steve and I celebrated our one year anniversary. Thank you for our wonderful trip!

Great cabin. It was very clean and well stocked. I enjoyed sitting on the private porches drinking my morning coffee. I would definitely go back.

We and our friends were totally blessed to be able to stay in this perfectly clean and beautiful cabin.

You never know when you book site unseen but this was such a delight. They are honest about every statement.

I could not say one bad thing about it. If you like the beauty of woods and a comfortable place to stay this is it

Thank you and God bless you both.

CLEAN cabin! Everything is better than advertised!

  • 5 of 5

Just a short review of a wonderful cabin. Everything in this cabin is very clean, new or updated. In-depth instructions on everything from the TV to the fireplace to the Jacuzzi. Great stay! Only regret we did not stay longer. One FYI, the roads to and from the cabin are very steep and fairly skinny, but no problem when roads not slippery. Also the back yard is very steep and not for toddlers.

Wonderful Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very well appointed and the owners provided everything we needed and more for a great stay. The owners provided a lot of supplies that we were not expecting. The cabin was very clean and well decorated. It is clear the owners put a lot of effort into making the cabin warm and inviting. We were very happy with the location because it is close to many of the more popular hikes in the park but we were able to avoid evening traffic issues in Pigeon Forge by returning to the cabin on back roads in many cases. This was a big plus. Grocery stores and other amenities are within 15 minutes. The owner was quick to respond to our booking request and provided detailed and easy to follow check in and check out information well before we arrived for our stay. We could not have asked for anything more and we would definitely return to this cabin and can recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

Perfect Cabin for our family!!

  • 5 of 5

The reviews and the cabin listing do not lie. It's a great cabin for those who do not want to be near the hustle and bustle of commercialized Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Close enough that when you DO want those types of entertainment, you can easily drive there.

My husband and son enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. My daughter and I enjoyed the timber and the views and the porches. My husband especially enjoyed that pets are not allowed in this cabin to leave dirt and dander and fur.

The cabin and its host are so welcoming - so cozy and clean and with most of the items that you need on a vacation stay. We will definitely stay here again when we come to the area again (mostly for the National Park!! That was incredible!). Thanks so much for your hospitality, Lisa!
