I remember my family holidays growing up in London. There was nothing more exciting than arriving at a big house and making it home for a week or two, and going to see all the local attractions. We believe that every person visiting London should have this experience (without it costing a fortune). So, I'm putting my lovely home in North London back up for rent for the summer months.
I would love for a family/group of people to come and enjoy my wonderfully spacious home while exploring London. There is nothing better than having a home to come back to after a long day of sight-seeing or an evening out. So much better than a hotel with all the benefits!
The house comfortably sleeps 8 People in lovely beds (up to 10 can be accommodated - just message me before booking). It is a lovely detached property in what is known as the Mount Stewart catchment area near the famous Harrow School. It is safe, green, and convenient.
The house is arranged over two floors, with a spacious living room and kitchen/dining space downstairs, a garden, and separate WC. On the first floor are 2 Master Bedrooms, 1 Family Room (with a double and single bed), a small Single Bedroom and two good sized bathrooms. (If you would like an extra bedroom, there is a dining room downstairs which can be easily converted.)
The facilities include gas central heating, wireless internet, digital TV, dishwasher and washing machine for laundry.
From the tube station, it takes less than 20 minutes to get in to Central London and from there you can easily visit all the main attractions. A walk to the tube will take 15 minutes and 2 minutes in a taxi (cost £5).
**The photos are all 100% genuine. The only changes I have made are in the bedrooms where the layout and furniture have been improved.
I grew up in the local area so I know it really well and have lived in London my whole life. I love the city and I can't imagine living anywhere else!
Milan purchased this house in 2007
With London ever increasing in popularity, it's becoming very rare to be able to find a nice area in London where you can live in a spacious house for a reasonable price. For me, this house ticked all the boxes and hopefully it will for anyone who chooses to stay!
This house is special because it is accommodating, self-contained, bright and convenient.
It is a fantastic house situated in a very peaceful neigbourhood. The house is clean and well maintained with furniture and kitchen ware new and very confortable. The kitchen, lovong room and dining are huge to allow the nine guests to be confortable. The bedrooms are also big and confortable and there is plenty of space to make your stay a dream.
There is a park across the street and the supermarket and the tube station is about 7 minutes walk from the house so it is very convenient.
The owner is very nice and helpful and helps you in every single question you have.
I would definitely recommend you the house for a short or long stay in London!
The house is gorgeous, clean and well-maintained, the landlord is amazing, I really love the kitchen, the garden in thee backyard and the lounge. Love the location and the fact that i only have to walk a few minutes to the bus stop and tube station. I would recommend this house to anyone!
This is an absolutely well decorated house with spacious living room, dining room. huge kitchen, and 4 bedrooms upstairs. Everything is in good condition, and the landlord tries his best to maintain the atmosphere of a lovely home to all. Enjoyed every minute of my stay in the house.
Neat, spacious and bright - three words that best describe the property. I have been living here for the last 6 months and i dont want to leave the house even after my contract ends. The house is significantly classy with a lawn that would come handy in the summer. The rooms are big and you can move around easily without bumping into the furnitures or other house-mates. I would have given this house an even better review but the landlord paid me to say just these :P
Jokes apart, worth every single quid and you will fall in love with the walls.
i never normally bother with writing reviews but this time i just had to.
this house is incredible - it is beautifully decorated and maintained while keeping that homely feel that so many places lack. one of the best things is the bargain price and also having a place in the suburbs with easy access into the city. it's great to have such a large place to come back to.
from beginning to end everything was handled exceptionally by milan. everything was very clearly and honestly described and the booking and payment process was a breeze. he can be relied upon for anything - we had some difficulties with our bank and he managed to sort everything out for us with a smile. he also knows London really well and is passionate about it, and you can see he really enjoys hosting and helping people.
the house is very comfortable and has lots of small and thoughtful touches that turn it from just a house into an ideal family home (including superfast wifi!). the kids loved the garden and the park over the road, which was ideal.
the kitchen is very well equipped and clean, the bathrooms and bedrooms are spotless; we are very fussy but there really is nothing to fault about this home. we will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any family or other group.
you can see a lot of thought has gone into this place - even down to the wonderful choice of books and dvd's. if the location is right for you don't bother looking elsewhere, you won't find a better place!
I couldn't have asked for more from my stay here, and in fact there were many little touches I would not have expected but which made the house feel very special, homely and well thought out, including flowers, cosy blankets and some tasty goodies in the kitchen!
The house was spacious, clean and well-equipped, and the owner was especially welcoming and thoughtful. From the warm and bright living room, to the large and well-stocked kitchen, to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms, this is a really lovely, welcoming property and I strongly recommend it.
The location is also great - a short tube journey away from central London yet out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
Amazing value for a special stay. I hope I can go back again soon!
