Bright and design apartment with a beautiful vegetated terrace of 20m².
The flat features two bedrooms with both a bathroom, a big size living-room with contemporary design style and a fully equipped kitchen. East and west exposed, it overlooks both on the terrace and a cobblestone pedestrian street, it is amazingly sunny and quiet.
Located on the first floor, with huge interior and exterior spaces, this is the perfect choice for 2 couples to spend their stay in the City of Lights.
Very secure place with a entry system and a keeper.
Close to the Metro station Strasboug Saint Denis (line 8 and 9) and Chateau d'eau (line 4), you will find it easy to go anywhere in Paris for the day, to the Marais, the Eiffel Tower, or le Louvre, les Galeries Lafayette and Musée Grévin and then go home again, get groceries and wine, and make dinner, or go out to a local bistro or theater.
Next to the Rue du Faubourg Saint Denis, in 5 min you will find well-known french food and wine shops, to have gastronomic breakfasts and dinners on the terrace.
We were pleasantly surprise at how large this apartment was. We were greeted upon our arrival and assisted with all the necessary information about the apartment and neighborhood. The neighborhood is safe and the keyhole entry to the wonderful street that this apartment is on is tranquil. You can watch the children walk to school with their parents each morning from the front windows of this apartment. Have breakfast on the gorgeous back patio deck with wonderful flowers blooming around you. Have a bite to eat at one of the quaint cafes on the tiny cobblestone street in front of this apartment or relax with a glass of wine. The building is very secure with an elevator and doorperson.
We have used VRBO many times over the years when traveling to Paris. And we have three of our own properties listed on VRBO in Paradise Valley, AZ USA. So when I say... this is by far our very favorite apartment we have ever stayed in in Paris. It is the highest possible recommendation.
thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.
Apartment matches listing photos and description which is great. Four of us stayed there comfortably for 4 nights. Fairly close to 2 metro stations. Filled with modern art and more lamps than you can shake a fist at. We couldn't find on/off switches for all of them but we tried. Apartment seems to have everything one might need except washcloths and hand towels. Those would have been nice to have. You might want to pack your own. Tatiana, the owner, was very responsive to emails. She always replied within a day and a half. Probably would have been even sooner without the time difference between the US and Paris. If you're the type who likes to leave windows open or you want to cool down the apartment with some ventilation, the cafe/bar scene heats up in the evening out front directly under the living room windows. There's a fair amount of noise and a lot of smoke drifts up. On the bright side, once you close the windows they are excellent at noise blocking. The only disappointment we had was the non-responsiveness of her agent, Rafael. He did not respond to emails, texts or phone calls, either before or during our stay. He was there to meet us as promised, though we needed to send an urgent email to Tatiana to learn that. Otherwise, we would recommend this apartment.
Our Host was very kind from the first contact and never measured efforts to clarify my questions about the apartment and about Paris.
Quick and efficient response.
The apartment is as good as it looks in the photos. Very well decorated and equipped.
When we were in Paris it was warm and the external area and the windows provided fantastic fresh air.
The building is very safe and silent. The closest metro station is Chateau D'Eau.
Overall we loved our stay and would certainly recommend this apartment!
easily accessible by Metro, only 4 blocks away.
did not like the fact that the owners kept most of yje closets, there was no storage for guests in the second bedroom at all.
restaurants and bar right outside the window made for noisy evenings.
the back yard was very nice
unfortunately the washer/dryer did not work well.
the caretaker was very informative, otherwise we would not have been able to find the metro or a grocery store
The property manager was very prompt with information and really helpful. The apartment very secure. It was marvelous and located where we could shop for fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fresh baked goods.(Can't beat freshly baked croissants for breakfast) It was only about 2 blocks from a Metro station that would get you anywhere in Paris quickly. It was really fun learning to use this system. The little terrace off the bedrooms was like an oasis. We dried our clothes out there after they were washed because the dryer didn't work well. If you are in a hurry there are also laundromats close to the apartment. The bed we used was very comfortable and the apartment was very clean. The only thing that didn't work well for us was that the closet in the bedroom our friends used wasn't open for use. It was marked as private. It would have been helpful to have had ½ of the closet in each room closed for the owners and the other ½ available to the renters. The owners left a full supply of spices along with all the pots/pans/dishes/appliances that you could need. We found the WIFI to be more reliable than most places we stayed in Europe. If you like to use facecloths be sure to bring your own as there are none available with the towels supplied. All in all our 1st experience was awesome. We highly recommend this apartment if you can get it.
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. We have been to Paris many times and this is by far our favorite visit. The apartment is clean, very quiet and beautiful. The location is awesome - on the same street as some of the best restaurants in Paris and just a couple of blocks away from a Metro station. If you want to be in a touristy area, this flat is not for you, but if you want to experience real Paris, this is the place. We had our two daughters with us (ages 8 and 11) and they, too, loved this apartment. I'm so glad we found it!
