Apartments Kravanja

Apartmaji Kravanja is a detached house with two separate apartments. 1 may reside in an apartment four people in two bedrooms (1 double and 1 room with bunk beds) and 2 in the apartment of two people can stay in a double room. Fully equipped three-star standard, but with a complete inventory of four stars, these apartments have had no expense spared to ensure your comfort. There is more than enough space for clothing and luggage, and to further enhance your experience, there is a beautiful garden compound with outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful mountain environment. Parking for several cars is on a dedicated ground in front of the property.

Ski:

Bovec offers the highest skiing in Slovenia and the main cable car station is only 5 minutes drive from the house. The new link between the Italian resort of Sella Nevea adds an additional 25 miles of picturesque trails. The Bovec ski pass is valid for all other 3 stations within 30 minutes drive from the house, if you fancy a bit of variety 'more.

Golf:

There is a scenic 9-hole course just outside Bovec, a 10 minute drive from Apartmaji Kravanja, while 30-minute drive takes you to a beautiful 18-hole course just across the Italian border at the foot of the mountains, with stunning mountain views. Golf clubs are available upon request by the owners.

Bovec is the beautiful Triglav National Park and offers wonderful hiking, biking and water sports. The area is so beautiful that the Disney Corporation has chosen as the location for many scenes in recent movie Narnia. The town, while retaining its alpine charm has all local amenities is very likely to need - Supermarket, several general stores, bank, post office, hairdressers, garage and some excellent restaurants and bars, all within a few minutes by car . The area around Bovec was the scene of some fierce battles during the First World War and the remains of many of the forts and trenches can be seen during some of the hiking trails. There is also a museum dedicated to the topic at nearby Kobarid, 20 minutes by car. Horse riding is available locally and the world famous Lipica stud and riding school is less than 2 hours by car, home of the Lipizzaner horses dancing.

The appartment 2 have one room with double bed, bathroom and the kitchen with sofa for one person . Infront is a garden with a grill and a big garden. It's nice becouse there isn't cars.

Excellent apartment in a quiet alpine village

Three of us rented the smaller apartment for a kayaking and climbing holiday based in the Soca valley. It was perfect for our needs, with plenty of parking space and lots of room for us to store, sort and dry out our equipment. The village itself, is very well situated for local access and felt so safe that we didn't bother to take the kayaks off the roof of the car at night.

Facing south, the ground floor apartment gets lots of sun, but the rooms themselves are well-shaded by balconies above and so never got too hot. We had every breakfast and evening meal sitting at the comfortable table outside, with views of the mountains, and were even able to collect fresh raspberries from the bushes fruiting in the well-kept garden - very relaxing! Although the road up the Soca valley is situated close to the bottom of the garden, it is set down in a dip and there was no noise or sight of the traffic at all.

The apartment and garden are adequately equipped and functional for any group or family wanting an active holiday, but could not be considered luxurious for anyone wanting to spend a lot of time inside. There was plentiful hot water.

Alenka was an excellent host, answering our queries quickly and accurately, making simple arrangements for us to arrive at, and leave, the apartment and never bothering us during our stay. In fact everyone we met in the village was very friendly and helpful.

We found the apartment to be appropriately described and very good value. We particularly appreciated the absence of any hidden charges, such as 'final cleaning', which have irritated us in other apartments.

All in all, we were very pleased with our choice of Apartma Kravanja. Some people might think that being out of Bovec was a disadvantage, but we had a car and it was easy to shop, or visit the tourist office in town whenever we were passing. We enjoyed the quiet of being in Kal-Koritnica.

Our surroundings offer several summer and winter possibilities to spend Your free time actively. There are many

Hiking trails, bike rides( this area is perfect for hiking, river sports, climbing, paragliding, skiing, cycling and other outdoor activities.) and bounded by beautiful white water rafting rivers in Europe - So?a just 10 minutes away from the village . In winter time there (3km from Kal Koritnica) is the highest ski resort in Slovenia (Kanin), based on the altitude of 2200 meters. As there is a restaurant,You can also go up in summer with the cable car and take one of several hiking routes.

The setting is a perfect Alpine village, which is warm, friendly and welcoming, with its own excellent bar restaurant. The nearest supermarket is five minutes away by car, and the local town of Bovec features many more hotels, restaurants and bars, as well as more shops and banking facilities. For extra variety, Italy and Austria are just a short drive away.
