A beautiful house full of character close to the beach

'La Marinière' 130 sq.m house with character completely renovated in 2013 by the sea in Guilvinec. It is quiet, close to shops, 200 metres from the harbour and 300 metres from the beach. Watch the arrival of the inshore boats every day (fresh prawns and fish guaranteed).

You will have Wi-Fi access and a lovely terrace with garden furniture in a quaint sheltered garden.

Description- On the ground floor: 1 kitchen with a table for 6 to 10 people, 1 living room with seating for 6 to 10 people with an HD TV, and 1 WC with sink.

- On the 1st floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a 160x200 cm bed, 1 flat-screen TV and a storage unit. 1 shower room including 1 wash basin and a 90x120 cm shower stall. 1 WC

- On the 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a 140x190 cm bed, a 90x190 cm bed, and a storage unit, and 1 shower room with a 90x90 cm shower stall and a vanity unit.

- Outside: Quaint, quiet garden behind the house with 2 terraces, including 1 for meals with a barbecue and 1 in the landscaped garden for relaxing.

I also love the sea and spend a lot of time with people that live there. I sail and row in a club in Guilvinec.

Why DUMOULIN chose Guilvinec

I hope to bring vacationers to our region.

For many years, I wanted to renovate this typical Bigoudène house that was in bad shape and was no longer lived in.

This house is close to the centre of Guilvinec, where there are all the shops (bakery, pastry shop, deli, mini market, creperie, pizzeria, and restaurants) easily accessible by car.

The house has a sunny landscaped 80 sq.m garden.

This house was renovated in 2013 and has 4 beautiful bedrooms, including two with showers. It is very well designed to comfortably accommodate 2 families with children.

A walk-in shower on the ground floor is perfect for returning from the beach.

Lovely large property in quiet French fishing port

We stayed for a week in August 2017. The house was more than large enough to accommodate our 2 families (there were 7 of us in total). It is very well equipped with a table for eating inside or outside and lots of chairs. Excellent washing machine and a large dryer which is important after a day on the beach. The garden isn't large but the owner has made really good use of the space, there is a seating area directly off the lounge with a modern rattan table and chairs. We had a lovely week staying in the house and there are lots of great beaches within easy reach. Guilvinec itself is quite quiet, although it comes to life on market day which is a Sunday. We also went for a fishing trip from the port and caught lots of mackerel. This is our second trip to Finistere and we love the area.

Maison Bretonne très bien rénové.

charme et confort

Le gite est un superbe pied à terre pour des randonneurs. Il allie charme et confort . La ville et le port sont pleins de caractère. C'est un point de départ facile pour de multiples escapades.

Les rapports avec Mr Dumoulin ont été très cordiaux.

Maison très grande, fonctionnelle proche de toutes commodités et à la fois très calme.

Nous étions 8 en tout 7 adultes et une enfant. La maison est proche de tout a pied centre ville avec ses commerces, plages, haliotica...La maison est conçue pour permettre d'avoir calme et intimité : chacun a sa chambre et les espaces communs sont a l'abri des voisins cuisine fonctionnelle spacieuse et jardin intime très bien aménagé. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et tout est pratique dans cette maison pour une famille nombreuse. Nous vous remercions pour cet agréable séjour.

Maison spacieuse et agréable

Merci au propriétaire pour sa sympathie et sa disponibilité. La facilité du séjour a été rendue très simple, grâce à sa compréhension, en dépit de nos horaires d'arrivée et de départ, pas dans la norme. Sinon, c'est une grande maison sur 2 étages, très bien agencée. Il y a une grande cuisine et un salon agréable. 2 salles de bains et 2 salles d'eau (2 douches dans 2 chambres !) sont rares pour un rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel ! Les 4 chambres sont très grandes. Pas loin de toutes commodités, c'est idéal pour les courses d'appoint. Bref, des vacances au calme ! Merci.

On the harbour, experience the daily arrival of the inshore boats accompanied by flocks of seagulls from 4 p.m. Monday to Friday;

This is a country rich in colours and traditions for you to discover.

The Guilvinec harbour, the first French artisan fishing harbour, is a placed ruled by the fishing lifestyle. The quays are a place of intense activity and discovery, and the return of the trawlers at the end of the afternoon under a flock of seagulls is an unforgettable sight.

Along the 10 km of coastline, there are fine sandy beaches and rock points. You can choose between the sheltered cove, the south-facing family beach, or the rolling waves that are perfect for skiing and surfing on the large beach of La Torche en Plomeur.

A few kilometres away, the landscape changes into a countryside that is perfect for walks. Little roads and green lanes lined with chestnut trees will lead you to the chapels, fountains and megaliths.

Guilvinec: The south point of Bigoudène is especially well-known for the variety and quality of its products such as fish, shellfish (prawns, crabs...) and also crepes.
