Perfect location for families with children and for swimming lovers. It is also close to the bustling town centre, the port of Saint-Gilles and its picturesque market (15 minutes on foot and 5 minutes by bike).
The accommodation is comfortable and has been renovated and equipped in 2013 as follows:
Convivial living room/kitchen equipped with bar and fireplace (kitchen with dishwasher and living room with television and sofa-bed), bathroom with large walk-in shower and washing machine and 3 bedrooms including 2 with 140 cm beds and one with 5 adjustable beds (bunk beds and trundle beds convertible into a 140 cm bed or 2 90 cm beds). A folding bed with mattress is also at your disposal to be placed in a huge master bedroom. It is on a 800 m² fenced ground (with space to park several vehicles in the garden) with large wooden fitted terrace (barbecue, large table and sunlounger) in a quiet (far from the road), sheltered and well exposed area with views of the port of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. An annex (small house on the other side of the wooden terrace) is available from spring (bedroom with shower and toilet).
- Very close (on foot): beach, swimming, fishing from the shore, harpoon fishing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, Mickey club in Boisvinet (neighbouring cove), cycle path, walking, pub, nigh club and restaurants.
- Less than 2 km: large sandy beaches with waves in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Sion are ideal for surfing, kitesurfing, paddle surfing and casting. Forests of Sion and Olonne for walks, bike rides or horse rides. Ferry towards Ile d’Yeu: shops, bike rental, markets (including night markets), fairs, funfair, restaurants and events reunited in the centre of Saint-Gilles or on its promenade. Pools, tree climbing, cinema, library, bowling, shopping centre and supermarkets less than 2 km.
The town centre is lively all year round. Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie is one of the most active fishing harbours on the Atlantic coast.
