Fourth floor, very bright, corner unit, all round windows allow views from every angle, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Master bedroom, king-size bed, walk in closet. Second bedroom, two single beds with adjoining bathroom which can be isolated to provide a completely private space. A stow-away bed allows the Condominium to sleep five.The kitchen has been totally renovated with ultra modern quartz tops, glossy white cupboards and a Maytag double oven convection stove and microwave It is exceptionally well equipped with china and fine glass ware,new double door fridge and dishwasher. There is every thing you will need if you want to cook the most sophisticated meals or just enjoy a take away. The utility room has washing machine and tumble dryer and the a/c unit is new.

This apartment has recently been furnished in a modern European style with a black and white theme throughout. Top quality leather furniture and glass combine with its open aspect give a clean bright relaxing atmosphere. The apartment is tiled throughout. New 42 inch flat screen television in the lounge and every bedroom also has a flat screen TV. Our building is off set from the next building giving wider views and more light. The balcony is just a few feet from the water’s edge. Watch the dolphins and boat traffic during the day and spectacular sunsets in the evening, or enjoy a romantic dinner. The Don Cesar is directly opposite and the view extends from Shell Island in the south to Boca Ciega bay in the north. The unit is located in Club Bahia, amongst the last units to be built on Isla Del Sol. The Club House is beside the swimming pool and has a fitness room and media lounge. Our Association is one of the few that permits minimum rental periods of a week. Golf is available during the summer at the nearby Country Club.

Although there was confusion regarding the initial billing, Mr. Beamish called and it was reconciled. As you became acquainted with the unit, it was obvious much love and thought was integral to the arrangement. Each detail was there when needed,

We had a really nice time staying in this condo. Everything was just as the pictures look. Enjoyed close proximity to the beaches. Also enjoyed the pool/hot tub on site. Clean and well stocked for your cooking needs. We found that we spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony and watching the boats go by. Saw dolphin, stingrays, baby shark, manatees swim by. Also, lots of beautiful birds. We had a nice view of the Don Cesar from the balcony (there is a book in the condo on the history of that hotel that I read. Wish I would have taken the time to check it out in person) Pass-a-grille beach was our favorite beach to visit. You won't be disappointed if you stay in this condo. Received our deposit back in a timely manner. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

We had a a wonderful stay at this condo. Property was very well maintained and The amenities were great. Location was amazing...wonderful views from the balcony, with beach and shopping close by...as well as Tropicana Field...if you are a baseball fan. We hope to return again.

Completely incredible

I cannot even begin to express in words how perfect this vacation was for me at Isla Del Sol. I have been coming to this area of St Pete Beach for the past 25 years and have loved it as a home! I was unable to stay in the condo I usually stay at due to renovations but it could not have worked out any better. I met Gerry (the owner) through VRBO and it was the most easy booking I have ever done. I was a bit hesitant at first to do any booking over an online forum but I was quickly assured of the legitimacy and safety of my payment and booking by the friendliness and personality of the owner. He immediately contacted me through email and even called me personally so we could have an actual conversation about the condo and the area. He was very accommodating to my schedule despite the time zone difference and made sure to remain in contact with me throughout the stay. I was impressed even before I got to the condo! Once I arrived...my jaw dropped. The condo is even more pristine and beautiful than the pictures show. Everything is practically brand new, modern, and comfortable - all KEY on vacation! You have everything anyone could ever need in the condo for yours to use, including brand new high-end appliances and linens. There is also wifi which has perfect signal which was key for me to use for email and messaging since I didn't want to activate my phone in the US. I had travelled alone but there was more than enough room and even amenities for at least a family of 5-6 to live comfortably. I have to admit my favourite place in the entire condo was the balcony - WOW - I felt spoiled as the typical condo I stay at is on the golf course and so the ability to eat my breakfast in the morning on the patio over the bay was something I took advantage of every single morning. I realize one reviewer before me had mentioned the bug spraying as 'annoying' but just to clarify, this is something completely out of the owner's control and native to any condo in the complex of isla. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to escape to paradise for a comfortable (and spoiled) vacation at a very reasonable price. I felt like home and now would rather go to this condo than the family place I stay at on the other side of the road! Thank you so much for your great hospitality Gerry!

Simply Amazing!

Private, peaceful, quiet and gorgeous! Isla del Sol is so tranquil. The landscaping is impeccable, with palm-lined streets and a central lake with fountain. It is perfect for quiet morning or evening walks. The common pool and heated spa are kept spotless, and you can always find shade.

This condo is well-appointed, bright, and gets beautiful breezes from the inland waterway. The best attribute is the balcony with beautiful sunsets and continuous parades of boats and wildlife. The best show were the dolphins (at least 5 in the school) that swam by daily. St Pete's beach is just 5 min away.

You will love this condo, and won't want to leave!

Wouldn't stay here again...

Very poorly managed rental, we lost many hours resolving issues during our stay. 1st issue: community requires a parking pass which the owner is supposed to have ready upon arriving, we get there - no pass, had to track down management company and drive and pickup parking pass ourselves. 2nd issue: owner is in Europe, contact is by email, very frustrating trying to resolve problems when owner is 6 time zones away, sometimes we got a quick response, sometimes no response. 3rd issue: we weren't told that the condo gets sprayed for bugs on a random basis, we thought we'd be contacted if anyone entered during our stay, but one day we got back and found that the condo had been entered and sprayed without our knowledge. Had we known we would have secured our valuables. 4th issue: poorly managed, on Monday night a downstairs neighbor bangs on the door complaining of a water leak coming from our condo. We stop using shower/bath and email owner. Next day the management company stops by and determines that a plumber needs to be called to fix leak, unable to use master bath Tuesday. Next day we get a call while we are on beach saying a plumber is on his way and that we need to be home to let him in. We ask incredulously why do we have to be there??? don't they have access to the apartment in emergencies? The response is that they can only enter if someone from the board enters too in order to prevent theft and yet a person can enter any time, without notification to spray for bugs, that's ridiculous. So we leave the beach to allow the plumber in to the condo. He fixes the leak and tells us to let it dry 24 hours before we use, so can't use the master bath Wednesday & Thursday. Again contact owner to complain, his response is that he's sorry but that the leak needed to be repaired. We had to cancel a pre-paid boat rental and lost the money in order to take care of this problem, owners response?...sorry, that's it. 5th issue: look at the majority of the property reviews, they are owner entered, that should be a warning. 6th issue: problem getting dishwasher to work, called a local lady owner said to contact with any issues, she was clueless, she said all she does is clean the place. 7th issue, over a week after we left I never heard from owner regarding the return of my $300 deposit. Once again had to email owner asking for my deposit back, the owner replied the next day and said check should be in mail that day.

Owner's Response: We are very sorry Oliver did not have the perfect vacation we want for all our guests. Our management could have been better on many of the issues he raises and we have taken steps to try to prevent future problems. On the specific issues raised; We let Oliver know, before arrival, that he had to collect a parking pass and gave directions to the building which is on the island. Bug spraying is an essential part of maintaining a Florida home but we didn’t think of warning guests, we will now do that. Normally they knock the door and identify themselves but will enter if there is no response. On the question of security, the bug company is bonded and has been doing the job for over 20 years, they also leave a note that they were there. The leak had to be repaired as it was affecting another condo but the Condo management company should have provided cover for the plumber and not inconvenienced Oliver. Although the master bathroom was unavailable until the repair dried there is another bathroom that functioned normally. On the cancelled boat trip I asked if Oliver had lost any money and he assured me that he had not. Some reviews are owner entered but they are all taken from the guest comment book in the condo, they are entirely genuine. The book covers twenty years of positive reviews. The latest 5 star review, entered by the guest, was immediately after Oliver’s visit. Problem with the dish washer, we didn’t know Oliver was having a problem getting it to work and I know it can be difficult as models become more sophisticated and you are not familiar with them. There are manuals for all our equipment in a kitchen cupboard but we will make that clearer to our future guests. There is a notice that all our equipment and a/c is covered by a maintenance contract with a local company FAST and a number to contact with any problem. On the security deposit, the rental agreement advises that it may take up to 30days to refund as telephone and utility bills have to be checked as well as the physical condition of the condo. We have never taken as long as30 days to refund a deposit, so a week to mail the check does not seem unreasonable. Renting someone’s home is not like staying in a hotel where there is 24hr service; it is called self catering for a reason. We have tried very hard to have systems in place to make sure everything goes smoothly for our guests and to anticipate problems and regret that on some of these issues we fell short.
