Wagners in Luisburg
We had a wonderful stay. The town was welcoming and charming. We even met a dog along our walk who waited for us each morning and evening. The only suggestion we have is for large groups like ours, a more significant amount of hot water is needed. Other than that is was wonderful.
Fabulous experience
Donna was very kind and caring. Had several bouquets of flowers out as well as fresh bread, apples and milk. The cottage is charming and very roomy. It wasn’t easy to find in the dark- would recommend arriving early and ask locals for help even in daylight.
Lovely, Quiet, Relaxing, Comfortable,
My two sisters and I spent four days at this cottage in September and had a lovely time. We recommend it highly. Louisburgh is a small town with a beautiful beach, a charming book shop (both secondhand and new,) and a great art gallery. Westport, which is a large town with great restaurants, is close by, only about 20 minutes away on a short beautiful drive along the coast.
Lovely house
We had a really relaxing stay at this house. 4 great size bedrooms and a fantastic open plan kitchen/ diner. Large garden around the house and our 4 grandsons had a great time there. Very friendly host Donna.
As a family we would certainly recommend this house and will certainly use this again if holidaying in Westport area.
Excellent Vacation Spot to Discover the Wild Atlantic Way
We have just returned from a wonderful vacation in Ireland. We were three ladies travelling and this home gave us each our own room and tons of space to spread out. Donna has thought of everything. The place is immaculate and very well equipped. It didn't hurt that we had fantastic weather while we were there as well. This is the 2nd time we have visited the area and would recommend Louisburgh as a great hub to tour the area. Close to Westport and Croag Patrick and the blue flag beaches along the scenic coast. Would definitely stay there again.
In a word --- FABULOUS!!!
My sisters and I spent a week at this cottage and we all wished it could have been a month. The house was roomy, well-appointed and comfortable. The setting was scenic and peaceful. The location was perfect for day trips to Clare Island, Achill Island, Croagh Patrick, Cong, etc, etc. We were able to walk into town to shop and walk to the beach. I really can't say enough about our time in Louisburgh and in this cottage. We're back home now and wondering "was it a dream?"

Pretty cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way, Situated in a beautiful rural setting, close to fabulous blue flag beaches. Surf lessons available at the beach, and only a 10 minute walk to Louisburgh village.
Perfect location to discover the County of Mayo, with fish-filled rivers, blue flag beaches, nearby islands, great golf courses and the most incredible touring, trekking, cycling and walking countryside you could imagine.
Visitors to Louisburgh are continually surprised by the magnificent scenery of the area. Located on the wild Atlantic coast, this lovely remote undiscovered corner of Western Europe boasts safe pollution-free (Blue-Flagg) beaches.
Louisburgh is the focal point of an area some 450 square miles in extent, stretching from Killary Fiord to the South, to the Owenree River to the North, and from the coast to the Erriff valley watershed in the East. All of this landscape is designated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Mayo County Development Plan, and calls have been made for its designation as a 'Special Amenity Area'.
