"A very comfortable and well equipped apartment, in easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Excellent base for our stay.

The Maltese were complaining about the cold and wind! They should should try Lancashire this spring!!

Not sure we really needed a car as the bus and harbour ferries are so good. We didn't realise we could have gone as far as the 'inland sea' (Gozo)direct from Sliema by bus.

Found Peppi's at St Julians to be good for our needs, straight forward food at a fair price. good friendly service and an easy walk back. Went several times. Nice sunlit bay to look out over in the evenings.

There is a new museum at Valletta, very close to the Sliema ferry/Valletta quay. Modern museum regarding the development of the fortifications, lots of models and maps (something!!) info. If history is your interest , we would thoroughly recommend doing the museum and the harbour tour on one day to get the full appreciation of the development of the Valletta area and fortifications. If you want peace and quiet and tranquillity then head for Gozo!

The apartment is modern, sits on the first floor with lift and stair access. There are two small traditional 'Juliet' balconies accessed from living area and master bedroom. The apartment is furnished in a modern style with quality furnishings, leather sofas, chrome and glass furnishings. There are efficient modern remote controlled ceiling fans to the bedrooms and living area as well as Air Conditioning in the main living area & Master bedroom . The kitchen benefits all latest appliances, gas hob and electric oven and grill, microwave dishwasher etc. - there is a small breakfast bar with two stools. The apartment benefits from cable TV and WiFi. In the utility room, washing machine with iron and ironing board along with drying stand etc. Extra cleaning or additional linen at extra cost is available. a document ,safe' is provided.

The appartment and all facilities are very nice and good, and the location is in a quiret area close to everything. However, some more space on balconey would raise the complete impression.

best stay in Malta !!!

Before we travelled to Malta , we were contacted via telephone from the owner ( Keith ), who was friendly helpful and advised us that his sister Janet would be there to meet us and we could contact them if needed.

Janet welcomed us in, lovely / friendly what more can you say .

we were showed round the apartment etc , once we settled in, realised that we had more then one set of towels , bed sheets, kitchen well equipped etc , clean and tidy , bottle of water and tea bags etc to get us started ....

We've been to Malta 5 times in 4 years and we both agreed that this was the best apartment, As long as the dates are available , this is the ONLY place for Us !!!!! it made our holiday that much special .... we also got to see a thunderstorm !!!!! an amazing experience .

This is a superb modern 1st floor apartment , it is bright , clean and absolutely fully equipped , the owners Keith and Janet were both friendly and very efficient in the whole process from booking to arrival to checking if all was ok throughout our stay , I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in the selima / Valletta area of Malta , it would in my opinion be difficult to find better

Einfach genial!

Wir haben das Appartement für 7 Tage gebucht und alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Der Inhaber war leider während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht auf Malta, daher haben wir die Schlüssel vorgängig per Post zugestellt erhalten. Hat alles sehr gut geklappt, absolut keine Probleme (auch das Geld für die Kaution wurde sofort nach der Heimreise retourniert). Das Appartement selbst ist sehr modern, geräumig und liegt an einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Trotzdem ist man innerhalb von wenigen Gehminuten in St. Julians, am Hafen, etc. Daher absolut empfehlenswert! Es gibt wirklich keinen Grund, von diesem Appartement abzuraten!!!

Head down to the Sliema Ferries terminus on the Strand and jump on a 'hop-on hop-off' open top bus tour of the South of the island which both starts and ends in Sliema. 'The Strand' is the name of the great boulevard along the coastline of Sliema and Gzira, a great area to relax and enjoy the panorama, beautiful yachts & boats and idyllic views of Valetta in the background. Tigne Fort dates back to 1792 and it was built by the Knights of St. John in order to defend La Valletta in a perfect combination with Fort St Elmo at the other side of the bay. Manoel island is an island in Marsamxett Harbour, where Sliema Creek is. It is now linked to the mainland by a bridge. This island is the home of four interesting ruins – which in 2010 were restored after having been bombed during WWII.
