Luxury Four Bedroomed Villa, basement as sports area, air con and communal pool

Fabulous private luxury villa located at the entrance to Gran Alacant on Urb Isla de Izaro, a gated community with a beautiful large communal pool and jacuzzi. All amenities within walking distance, beach close by.

A large four bedroom detached villa with large basement area made into a family area with sleeping for four and games room with pool table, table tennis, bicycles and lots more and if you're up for it....a punchbag. There is also a sofa bed for seating. The aircon system is built in and is controlled by separate controllers for the entire ground floor and first floor. The basement area has an individual aircon unit.

Access is via double locking gates or a remote controlled electric gate. There is double glazing throughout, grills on all windows and doors. Shutters throughout for security and heat management and a house alarm.

On entering the property you are in a small hallway which has access on the left to a large open plan lounge and dining area. The lounge features a log fire, with corner suite and leather sofa, which converts to a bed. The dining table is set for 6 though does extend and will seat up to ten. There is a large sideboard full of additional glasses and tableware. There is a 42 inch TV screen with satellite TV featuring various UK channels, a DVD Player and plenty of books including a Spanish phrasebook!

Additionally there is a secure internet via WiFi or cable which can be used for Skype calls etc.

The large kitchen area is fully equipped with everything for you to have a fantastic holiday; there is a folding table and four chairs as well as a Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with crockery and cutlery and plenty of plastic crockery/cutlery for outdoor eating.

At the rear of the kitchen is a laundry area with washing machine, cooler bags for the beach! Shopping basket/trolley for shopping so you do not have to carry heavy bags from the shops!

Also from the front hallway there is a ground floor toilet and the fourth bedroom.

This features a double bed with wardrobes and drawers.

You then have the stairway to the first floor and a further three double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and a shower room.

The master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over, also features patio doors with access to terraced area which has a table and chairs, with great views over the private garden, the communal area and pool. This bedroom has two double sliding wardrobes, each with drawers inside, as well as a separate chest of drawers.

Bedroom two features a double bed with wardrobe and drawers.

The third bedroom has twin single beds, wardrobe and drawers and access to a small terraced area to the front of the house with views over to the mountains and commercial area.

In between the master and second bedroom there is a separate shower room with shower cubicle.

The basement is accessed from the hallway with stairs leading down to a large open area. This has been turned into a family room and games area with the pool/snooker table and various size cues, a table tennis table with bats, a mini gym and various other outdoor sports equipment, including bikes, tennis rackets and balls, cricket bats and balls, paddling pools etc. Plenty to keep everyone occupied, inside or out. There is also everything that you may need to take to the beach with you, including chairs, mats, parasols, sand castle building toys, small surf boards etc.

Access to the patio and garden is from the lounge, with a patio table and six chairs for al fresco dining.

The garden was designed by the owners and grown from 'scratch'. It has plenty of interesting plants and shrubs including Grapevine, Lemon Tree, Pepper Tree, Jasmine, Bird of Paradise, bougainvillea, Rosemary, various palms and succulents. Centre piece is a 300+ year old Olive tree.

A range of garden furniture for relaxing.. The garden has artificial grass throughout.

There's an outdoor shower near the front door to clean off after those visits to the beach.

Access to the communal area is through a gate at the bottom of the garden. This leads to a large freeform outdoor pool, with fountains, bridge and a Jacuzzi built in. Children’s pool attached to this. The gardens have plenty of areas to sunbathe, with shady trees and parasols. Children’s play area with slide etc.

There is a Solarium at the top with 360 degree view around the community and surrounding areas. For star gazers, there's also a telescope.

The perfect place to stay.

There are lots of sporting equipment for use at this villa though too much to mention it all. Family orientated property and great for the kids. lots of fruit trees etc in the garden area.

Lovely accommodation; clean, spacious with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Everything went smoothly, from meet and greet to handover and lift to airport. The Villa had everything we needed, especially with 2 young children. Location was good with a lovely and non crowded pool, in fact despite going in the Juky children's holiday we often had it to ourselves. Supermarket and local bars and restaurants all close by, but would recommend a car for young families if visiting the beach regularly. Bus service is good but at times in only hourly, and taxi's aren't that reliable.

Ideal para unas vacaciones familiares

La casa es perfecta para viajar en familia. Viajamos con niños de 8 a 17 años y todos encontraron su entretenimiento: la piscina con jacuzzi, el sótano con billar, pingpong, consolas, música... el jardín de la casa, muy agradable, con rincones especialmente acogedores y sombreados, con canasta de baloncesto, tumbonas y una zona de estar con un sofá de jardín y butacas, la barbacoa... Realmente, del gusto de todos, sea cual sea su edad.

La casa está muy bien amueblada para veranear en ella: ligera y con buen gusto. La cocina está muy equipada. En mi opinión, faltan ollas y sartenes de gran tamaño, al igual que la nevera, que es pequeña para la capacidad de la casa y el cajón de la fruta está roto.

Todo estaba muy limpio al llegar, con sábanas y toallas para todos, armarios suficientes, con muchas perchas...

El aire acondicionado es fundamental, y se agradece que lo haya en las tres plantas, ya que hay muchísimos mosquitos y es imposible tener las ventanas abiertas.

Aconsejo a los propietarios poner mosquiteras en las ventanas, no restan luz ni visibilidad, pero impiden que entren mosquitos.

El anuncio es fiel a lo que ofrece, no hay sorpresas. Sólo la sorpresa de tener todo lo que uno espera e incluso más (entretenimientos, sillas y sombrillas para la playa; carrito de la compra...).

Muchísimas gracias también a la propiedad, a través de Karen, la agente, por su atención. La tostadora no funcionaba y enseguida se presentó con una tostadora nueva.

La zona es muy tranquila, con urbanizaciones de nueva construcción. Por su orientación, se oyen los coches de la carretera cercana. Pero realmente no es muy molesto. La playa está a unos 3 km. por lo que hay que coger el coche (o la bici), pero es muy bonita y merece la pena.

Realmente, una experiencia para repetir.

Known for its fantastic climate and dry weather the Costa Blanca is a great place to holiday. Gran Alacant is situated on the hillside between the cities of Alicante and Santa Pola. Just a 10 minute drive from Alicante airport. Alicante is a ten minute drive in one direction and has a good lively night life.

The beautiful quaint fishing port of Santa Pola is just 5kms drive in the opposite direction. Santa Pola has a large market with a vast variety of foods and good available and takes place on Saturday and Monday mornings. You can take the coast road along the Carrabassi beach into Santa Pola which runs from the bottom of the hill at Gran Alacant into the town and take a glass bottom boat ride to the island of Tarbarca.

Benidorm is approx 1 hours drive north or you can take the train or bus if you do not drive. The lively nightlife and its many attractions which include Terra Mitica, Mundomar, Terra Nature are among a few. Gran A|acant itself , has a large selection of bars and restaurants catering to all taste and nationalities and several large supermarkets within walking distance where you can purchase beer and wine for relaxing on the terrace and soaking up the sun.

There is a weekly market on Thursday morning just a short train ride from the house, where you can pick up fresh local fruit and vegetables.

The Caribassi beach, has fabulous sand dunes and stretches for miles, with plenty of free parking.

For the nature lovers there is the Clot de Galvany nature reserve where you can stroll through the grass and use the Keeps to take a look at the bird life and there is also a BBQ area

There are several budget airlines flying to the local airport of Alicante. It is an 8 minute drive from the airport to Isla de Izaro Urbanisation.

Car hire can be arranged if necessary. We also offer meeting you at the airport if this is preferred or you can take a taxi at the airport

Further directions will be given to arrive at the apartment once booking is made.
