Amazing Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Amazing cabin! Very clean, very comfortable, amazing views. Can't beat the creek, hammock, and swing! I could write a novel on how much we enjoyed this place. Will certainly be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cabin. The town of Black Mountain was so cute. Great, great place!

Comfortable, quaint mountain retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We travel from Florida to Asheville twice a year and always stay at different cabins. Bee Tree is our favorite cabin yet!

We Loved that it was private and we could walk around the grounds every morning with our coffee. The location is fantastic, close to downtown Asheville and Black Mountain. We ate a great restaurant right down the street called The Native and it was delicious.

June really thinks of everything to make you feel like your in the comfort of your own home.

The best thing for me since I'm a "clean freak" was everything was very clean!

We are thankful for our peaceful, relaxing stay at Bee Tree!

Great location, beautiful property, quaint cabin

  • 5 of 5

This is a great cabin with all the amenities you can think of, all you have to do is buy groceries. We loved the location, just set back off the main road enough, but not too far away. The cabin is on a great piece of property and is just beautiful and the creek is awesome. We even saw a bear and wild turkey!

The house was everything the listing said it was and more. The house was clean, and all our needs were anticipated. Very peaceful and relaxing. You couldn't ask for a better setting. After touring the Biltmore Estate all day, to be able to get back to the house and relax in the hot tub was perfect. I will definitely go back!

Charming, cozy, rustic. A fantastic retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Beetree Cottage could not have been more perfect for our little winter getaway. My husband and I scooped up our little maltipug, Annie, and drove up from Orlando. It took about seven hours. We found and accessed the cabin right away.

The cottage has three bedrooms, and I believe the sofa in the living room converts to a bed to create a fourth sleeping space. The bed linens were crisp and clean, as were the towels, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is updated and very clean with towels and extra paper supplies tucked away.

The kitchen is great for cooking, with big windows for natural light. There are all the pots, pans, cook's tools, plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, and mixing bowls you could possibly need, an electric range, a microwave, a huge fridge, and a few small appliances. There's a dining room with a table for four adjacent to the kitchen, separate from the the living room.

The living room was the best part. Comfy couches, a big TV, a Roku, huge picture windows with great woodsy views, and of course the pièce de résistance: the wood-burning stove. We had a fire going the whole time we were there. The decor is rustic but not so over-the-top as to be ostentatious, with wood paneling, dark rugs, and decorative accents reminiscent of a hunting lodge. It's a warm, plush, comfortable room.

Outside, there's a huge wraparound deck furnished with comfy chairs and tables, tiki torches, a gas grill, and a very inviting (and clean) hot tub. We used the tub multiple times each day we were there. The cabin itself is secluded but not remote—sort of the best of both worlds. You can't see neighbors from the windows but they're there, through the trees and around the bend. There's a lovely creek on the property and you can hear the water when you're outside.

Miscellaneous: Very fast wi-fi, washer/dryer, some wood provided for burning but it needs to be replenished, no dishwasher. Although we never met her in person, the manager (June) is super easy to work with, and the rental/clean-up expectations were minimal and clearly outlined within the cabin. We got our deposit back promptly.

Recs: BBQ at nearby Okiedokies, donuts at Vortex, breakfast at Tupelo Honey, shopping in downtown Asheville, shrimp & grits at Sunny Point Cafe, and grocery shopping at nearby Ingles supermarket.

We'll most definitely be backhand hope to stay at Beetree Cottage again. We'd recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy mountain escape.

Bee Tree Cottage is located in the beautiful Swannanoa Valley 15 minutes east of downtown Asheville.
