Renovated old house in the heart of the historic center of Lunel, close to shops.

Parking lot

The house (about 100m2) is fully equipped and thought for a successful holiday. The garden (90 m2) with its swimming pool secure and warmed * OFF SEASON (April may June and Sept Oct All Saints' Day included), for maximum comfort and early or late swimming.

For additional security, scale outside the pool is retractable to prevent access to children.

The house has a beautiful and large open kitchen / living room overlooking the garden through a beautiful bay window with wrought iron 4m wide. Beautiful view of a beautiful old building.

Upstairs are three bedrooms can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The large sofa lounge allows even a little extra space.

For convenience, many facilities are available: 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets (one independent), air conditioning, deck, dishwasher, large fridge / freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven, coffee maker, crockery and kitchen utensils ...

For your enjoyment, a swimming pool (about 4x4m) for your exclusive use, a large LCD TV 115 cm, Playstation 3 with games and 2 controllers, DVD / Blue Ray player, Wi-Fi access point, chain Hi Fi, many books and DVD, barbecue ...

The bell tower of the chapel of the Penitents that we see on the third picture only sound on Saturday to 5:30 p.m. ...

Geographically, Lunel is ideally located. Halfway between Montpellier and Nimes (25 minutes), near the Camargue, and 10/15 minutes from the sandy beaches of the Grande Motte ... Also close, Grau of the King, Carnon, Aigues-Mortes, Palavas ... To discover also the Cevennes and its magnificent landscapes, the gorges of the Hérault, the Roman vestiges around, the scrubland, the magnificent and wild ornithological park of the bridge of Gau (Camargues)

the deposit of 400 € is payable on arrival with the small tourist tax (0,50cts / adult / day).

Low season rate (October to May): 400 € / 450 week (in October possible arrival on Saturday or Sunday)

Average season rates (June): 500 € / week // (September): 500 € / week

Prices high season (July / August): 1000 € / 1100 € week (for the months of July and August rental: 2 weeks mini except if it remains a week isolated)

Lovely home, Friendly Hosts

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Lunel. The location is perfect - close to many points of interest and the house and garden is really perfect - especially for a family with small children. We enjoyed spending time in the garden, taking a dip in the pool, firing up the BBQ. There are also some pretty good restaurants nearby and a great park just down the road. Our hosts were really kind, warm, generous and very professional. We will definitely return one day soon and I will be recommending this lovely home to friends and family.

Lovely gite in a central location

The house was clean and tidy, well appointed and spacious. It was nice to have a garden while being in walking distance of the town.

The house is central to many lovely hitorical towns and monuments so lots to do. The sunday market is enormous and very nice to wander around.

There are some things in the house that need looking at -

The downstairs shower room - door doesn't lock and only one of the shower heads works.

The upstairs toilet - there is no lock on the door

All the taps are loose..

The swimming pool broke and wasn't fixed so we were unable use it. (Not so bad for us but if we had children with us it would have been a problem)

Overall I would recommend staying here.

Owner's Response: Version Française / English version Bonjour, Réponse un peu tardive à votre commentaire mais comme vous le savez, nous étions en voyage pour quelques mois lors de votre séjour. Tout d’abord, nous sommes désolés pour la panne de la piscine au cours de votre séjour. La pompe a grillée et il a été compliqué de trouver rapidement un modèle correspondant. Les personnes qui s’occupaient de la maison en notre absence ont réussi à trouver une pompe en quelques jours, puis ont attendues que les grosses pluies se calment avant d’intervenir. Concernant votre remarque sur l’absence de clef dans les toilettes et les douches, il s’agit ici d’un élément de sécurité afin que les enfants ne s’y enferment pas par mégarde …ou en jouant. Ces portes resteront donc sans verrou ;o) Enfin, vous évoquez le fait que certains robinets étaient desserrés ; en effet, il se trouve que celui de la cuisine et du lavabo de la salle de bain du bas (pourtant neufs de moins d’un an) étaient un peu desserrés en fin de saison. Le bouton de la douche était lui-aussi un peu desserré et il était difficile de changer de position entre le plafonnier et la douche standard. Il est dommage que vous n’ayez pas signalé ces différents petits désagréments à la personne qui vous a reçu car ils auraient été réglés rapidement. C’est d’ailleurs ce que nous demandons aux locataires, afin de maintenir une maison en très bon état (il nous est difficile d’en faire le constat lors des changements entre 2 locations). Tout est bien entendu rentré dans l’ordre maintenant et nous espérons vous recevoir à nouveau prochainement. First of all, we are sorry for the breakdown of the pool during your stay. The pump burned out and it was difficult to quickly find a matching model. The people who looked after the house in our absence managed to find a pump in a few days, then waited for the heavy rain to subside before intervening. Regarding your remark about the lack of keys in the toilets and showers, this is a safety feature so that children do not inadvertently lock themselves in ... or playing. These doors will remain without lock; Finally, you mention the fact that some faucets were loose; indeed, it turns out that that of the kitchen and bathroom sink bottom (yet new less than a year) were a little loose at the end of the season. We'll be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at your house for 2.5 months — and we fully enjoyed our time as your guests. The house provided a perfect setting for a family of four, and occasional visitors still fit in. The combination of separate rooms upstairs and spacious living room with huge kitchen/dining room made living here really comfortable — even more so as the backyard with lawn and pool (the season only started at the end of our stay in March) added a welcome place to be during sunny spring days. The location proved to be a perfect starting point for excursions into Camargue, to the seaside, southern Cevennes as well as the numerous marvelous cities in close distance (Nîmes, Monpellier, Arles, Avignon, Aigues-Mortes, Sète, .... by train or car). All this was topped by a really friendly and easy-going landlord. Thank you, Didier, for your hospitality, and we'll be back!

Super tolle Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist perfekt für sechs Personen. Wir reisten mit fünf erwachsenen Personen. Sie ist sehr geräumig und gepflegt und jeder kann sich zurückziehen. Die Einrichtung ist toll und es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Der Swimmingpool ist immer für eine Abkühlung gut. Die Umgebung ist super ruhig und man ist schnell zu Fuß in der kleinen unspektakulären City (Markt, Bäcker etc.). Die Vermieter Didier und Sandrine sind super nett und sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Auch ohne französisch zu sprechen, hat die Kommunikation geklappt. Von Lunel aus kann man viele tolle Ausflüge machen, bis zum Strand fährt man 20 Minuten. Der Parkplatz für den PKW liegt zwei Straßen weiter, ohne Problem! Die Ferienwohnung ist unbedingt zu empfehlen!!

Hübsches, gepflegtes und komplett eingerichtetes Haus mit wunderbarem Garten. Sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Vermieter (wohnen im Nachbarhaus), die uns (wir waren nicht unkompliziert, da mit Anhänger und drei Motorrädern angereist) viele Schwierigkeiten und Sorgen abgenommen haben. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen wieder. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Schönes, sauberes Haus, gemütlich eingerichtet, vollständig ausgestattet. Hübscher Garten zum Ausspannen. Sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die im Nachbarhaus wohnen. Obwohl wir nicht unkompliziert waren (Anreise mit Anhänger und drei Motorrädern), haben sich die Vermieter auch um die kleinsten Details gekümmert und uns viele Schwierigkeiten abgenommen. Großes Lob. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Wir würden wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank.
