Loft in the heart of Marseille in Provence, European capital of Culture, located 700 feet away from the « old Harbour » and 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and all major exhibition places (MUCEM, CEREM, Opera, Criée theatre, Notre Dame de la garde Cathedral…)

Situated at the back of a porch and interior courtyard of an old theatre, on the first floor, this bright 130 m2 loft has been luxuriously renovated and furnished with contemporary design and large cosy rooms.

-Living room ( three seater and two seater sofa + leather club Hugues Chevalier ; flat screen TV, DVD player and amplifier…)

Dining room (table made of wenge wood and glass for 8)

Large open kitchen well equipped to cook delightful dishes with spices from all over the word (including herbs and olive oil from beautiful Provence, recipe books and cooking pots ready for use). Oven, microwave, dishwasher, American refrigerator, electric appliances (Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, food processor, juicer, juice extractor).

A back laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing room and plenty of storage.

For your additional use : a single sofa bed and a very comfortable wall queen-sized double bed.

On this first floor you will find also some toilets.

By a wrought iron staircase you come to the second floor made of tempered glass which leads to :

-A parental suite with a Bamboo king-sized double bed, a chest with 8 drawers, a cupboard, a wardrobe behind curtains, a Bang and Olufsen TV with hifi and VCR.

-A spacious adjoining bathroom (shower, toilets, double sink and bathtub)

On the opposite side :

-Another bedroom with its nice little inside balcony, furnished with a queen-sized double bed with its own bathroom (Small bathtub and sink), coffee table and a workspace with a desk.

In this nice and cosy apartment, you will also appreciate the decorative furnishings and fine workmanship, hot and cold air conditioning in all rooms, skylights and automated roller shutters, alarm, baby grand piano, lamps with adjustable luminous intensity….

Linen is provided. Baby’s cot and High chair on request.

You will find many restaurants and cafés within walking distance (Cours d’Estienne d’Orves, Ste neighborhood, Cours St Julien..), the most prestigious boutiques (rue Grignan, rue du Paradis) and the shopping street called Saint Férréol street very closeby. Nearby also, the very typical fish market on the old Port with fresh fish sold at auction every morning by fishmongers

Directions :

By Metro : Vieux-Port or Prefecture stop,

Buses stop just by the loft

Tramway stop : 5 minutes walk

From the airport : shuttle bus until St Charles station then taxi or métro.

By car : numerous car parks close by : Monthyon and Cours d’Estienne d’Orves.

An absolutely amazing experience

I really cannot say enough about how wonderful this apartment was!!! My wife and I spend a week there and we both agree we could not have made a better choice. The apartment is quite spacious and well laid out. In fact we could have easily brought two couples to stay with us. There is ample light, a fully equipped kitchen and all needed amenities. Location was also a plus - only a couple of minutes from the old harbor. Patricia was awesome and offered us so much needed help. We will certainly stay there when we visit Marseille in the future - hopefully soon!!!!

Light, elegance and convenience!!!

What a gem of an apartment that was!!!! My wife and I stayed there for a week. We wished we had another couple or two of our friends staying with us. Space was certainly there. The apartment is nicely laid out on two floors and had a fully equipped kitchen, the most modern washing machine and dryer we have ever experiences. It was a 5 min walk from the beautiful old harbor and the metro line. Patricia was most welcoming and helpful. She responded to our questions promptly and did all what she could to accommodate our needs. We would love to go back, hopefully soon.

Perfect in every way

Patricia's loft is extremely well situated, yet absolutely quiet. Spotlessly clean, everything we could possibly have needed for our six week stay was supplied. The loft itself has plenty of space, yet it is configured so that there is an intimate, cozy feeling. Patricia herself is as charming as her loft and even graciously had the piano tuned for our stay. Of course we will want to stay in Patricia's loft when we visit Marseilles again -- actually we would be happy to live there forever!

An amazing loft apartment in a good location

We really enjoyed our stay at Patricia's loft. It is well equipped, well located and spacious. Patricia is friendly and welcoming, though her welcome talk was rather long, but I think she was just bonding with us!

Also, we recommend asking her to book Billy the taxi man to collect you from the station. (We strongly advise using the direct Eurostar if you're coming from the uk.) He's friendly and helpful too.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the price is very much at the top end of the range for Marseille, so some people might find it a bit 'steep'.

Nevertheless we had a fabulous holiday in this unique, original and modern apartment.

Amazing Apartment

The loft is very well located in Marseille just a couple of minutes walk from the old port with its numerous bars and shops.

The loft itself is beautifully decorated and has a lot of space available.

Beautiful apartment. Beautiful city.

Patricia's apartment is beautiful. It is situated in a fantastic location and a perfect base for exploring Marseille and the surrounding area. The apartment is luxurious, very well equipped and finished to a very high specification. Finding the apartment was really easy following the clear instructions we received from Patricia. We were warmly welcomed by Cecile (Patricia was away) at the arranged time and shown how all the amenities (air con, wifi, TV etc.) worked and given some useful suggestions of where to go, restaurants etc. The fridge was well stocked which was a really nice touch.

We hired a car for the last few days and parking is really easy in the Monthyon car park which is just across the road from the apartment. Buses and the Metro are easy to use but we mainly walked as the apartment is so centrally located.

I cannot recommend the apartment highly enough.

We had an amazing holiday in Marseille. Thank you Patricia and Cecile.
