Great Get Away in the Woods!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great getaway house in the woods! There is a beautiful lake and hiking paths that are only a short hiking distance from the house. The house is very eclectic, cozy and comfortable, it's spacious enough to fit 10 people. It's very well maintained and clean.

It's a very open floor plan, but there are a lot of nooks and crannies to sneak off into to read or just to relax and take a nap.

Andy was always helpful with whatever questions we had for him. It's a definite do over and may become an annual visit!

An amazing weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The house is absolutely beautiful - eclectic and charming, but spacious and definitely room to sleep 10 people. The house is well maintained and everything worked as planned - and Andy is always a call away if needed.

I would definitely recommend this property for a long weekend getaway, or even a week to unplug and walk the hills or sit by the fire!

The only note: Take showers before you wash dishes just to be sure you get hot water!

We will definitely be returning to this house in the future.

Take me to the river

  • 5 of 5

Well, it is more like a large very bubbling brook - you get the gist. Andy, the owner, is warm and super helpful. The house is large, bright, funky and built and decorated with love. Absolutely bring all the food you will need or plan to go to the grocery store. I would even advise bringing extra for dinner because once you get there you will not want to go back out. There are too many cozy comfy paces to sit. I felt like I had to check them all out. I played my UKE on at least 5 different chairs moving with the sun and the views. We had cocktails in one of the several seating areas by the river, read inside and out side in spots with sun and views, had conversations by the indoor herb garden and felt like we were living inside and outside in the beauty of the Berkshires. The house is remote and so sweetly quiet. We hiked during the day and cancelled reservations at night because we were too relaxed to make a move. I would definitely go again. Thank you Andy!

Serene-perfect for groups-near Berkshire Easr

  • 5 of 5

The home was uniquely and beautifully designed, spacious, and had everything our group needed for a relaxing weekend. We went whitewater rafting at Berkshire east and hiked and went for a swim at the nearby Glendale falls. The property is gorgeous with a steam and walk to a lake in the backyard. Acres and acres, it seemed so quiet and I could scream and no one would hear me. Nice and cool for sleeping in the summer and a fireplace if you were to stay in the winter (lots of nearby ski resorts). Also not to far from jimeny peak. BBQ, firepit, beautifully landscaped...we didn't want to leave.

Beautiful Home, Great Amenities and Set up

  • 4 of 5

We traveled to the Berkshires with our 22-month old son, and another family with an 8-month old son. This home was perfect - away from the town so we could relax and enjoy nature, but close enough (30 min) to Lenox for dinner out and walking around. The home is beautiful, and the kids loved the brook, as well as all the space outside to run/crawl around. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We cooked in for lunch and one dinner, and the house had everything we needed.
