My husband and I rode motorcycles in this area and love the mountain views. We decided to buy and it is in the middle area between where our children.
Great view, quiet area and near tubing and 5 miles from downtown Helen. Lots of history. There is a swing on an screened porch to enjoy view.

We are two real estate brokers in Florida who wanted a relaxing week-end. We chose the mountains because of the autumn beauty and we chose Helen because of the Octoberfest. Your home was the perfect getaway that we were looking for. The fall foliage was breath-taking, the home was very clean and we were delighted with the accommodations. Being in real estate rentals ourselves, we are very well aware of pricing and we felt your rate was extremely reasonable. Thank you for the ease of the transaction also. Knowing that we would be arriving after dark, we did call for an exact street address and we were glad we did as we don't think we would have found it with just the Cabin #16 information. Thank you again for providing us with a lovely, comfortable, nicely furnished home.
Great location and great cabin. Only a few miles from Helen and not far at all from other points of interest. Great place for a quiet family getaway.
Very clean and cozy cabin...brought wood to enjoy the fireplace each night. Kitchen well equipped to make family meals. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay and yet close enough to visit Helen and hiking with a 10 min drive.
Wonderful time. Cabin has everything you need for a home away from home while vacationing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The scenery was pretty too. We went to Helen and had a great time shopping and eating.
We also went to Bardstown bald and saw lots of mountains and pretty fall colors.
I can't wait to go back.
We were speechless. What a beautiful home. It took everything in us to leave on our check out date. This truly was the perfect get away for my family and I. I have no complaints other than the TV signal. Not sure if signal is bad or maybe bad circuits? Kept turning off, not a big deal for us, we wanted an escape from our regular daily lives.
Very clean and just a treat really. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the McCrackens for sharing your lovely home with us!
