We live and work in Massachusetts where we have raised our family. We take pride in ownership and enjoy our summer vacation home in BBH
Randall & Maria Lehman purchased this cottage in 1998
We fell in love with Boothbay Harbor after visiting family in the area. Located above Spruce Point, it's like being in the forest with an ocean view, yet we can walk to town.
There is always so much to do and see in the Boothbay Harbor area.
We are very proud of our cabin. It has all the comforts of home. We hope your stay will be enjoyable. Please add your comments after your stay.
My wife and kids and I have come to the Lehman cabin and BBH five of the last seven years and it has never disappointed as a place to stay. Pristine cabin conditions, modern look while still achieving a "rustic" feel. Close to town but you really can disconnect here. In our view, it's the best place to stay traveling to Boothbay Harbor. In short, we have created some of the best memories of our lives in this property and in this secluded paradise. It really is a "home away from home" for us and we hope to rent for years to come. Thank you Randy and Maria for giving us a place we always want to come back to. - The Maloney Family
My wife and I have been traveling to Booth Bay Harbor for several years and up until this year, usually shared a residence with another family. As my own family has grown to three girls ranging from age 7 to 3, we needed a place of our own. The Lehman's Cottage was a perfect fit.
Located in a nicely shaded area but close to the harbor, the cabin is located on a quiet, dead-end street so I wasn't too worried about my girls riding their bike in the street. The cottage is updated with new electrical, a beautiful screened-in porch with a futon couch that I slept on several nights. It also has some updated appliances like a microwave, wireless internet and a nice LCD TV for rainy days or winding down at night with the kids after a busy day.
The kitchen was amply supplied, the bathroom nice and with a queen bed and pull-out couch, a full-size futon and two twin beds, the cabin has plenty of sleeping options. Plan to budget $30-40 for laundry services because there is no washer or dryer in the cabin. A drying rack might be a good idea to air-drying towels in the cabin.
We had great weather, a great vacation in a great house and Randall and Maria were a pleasure to work with. I expect we’ll return to Booth Bay Harbor next year and my whole family hopes the Lehman Cabin will be available.
This vacation cabin is beautiful and nicely updated. Location is prime, quiet wooded setting however walking distance to the harbor. Small beach area nearby, as well as a beautiful park. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Very comfortable, very clean & nice amenities.
Located just above picturesque Boothbay Harbor overlooking the Linekin Bay. Walking distance to downtown. Hiking trails, bike & kayak rentals, whale watching & fishing excursions. Plentiful arts & crafts shops and fairs. Lobster, and seafood restaurants galore! Just 45 min. drive to Freeport for outlet shopping.
