La Maison is close to the centre of Tremolat and the grocery store, bar and restaurants yet there are views of open countryside and hills from the garden and pool.

On the Ground Floor is the fully fitted kitchen and the open plan sitting and dining area, seating six or more with British or French TV, video and toys etc. Also on the Ground Floor is a shower and toilet. On the First Floor is one twin bedded room, one double bedded room the second shower and toilet. On the Second Floor is a further twin bedded room.

A short walk around the barn is the BBQ area and the Garden which is for your exclusive use with table and chairs. A gate leads directly to the secure private pool area, shared with one other gite.

The picturesque and friendly village of Tremolat is in the heart of the Dordogne, described by many as 'paradise on earth'. The old village was the setting for the classic Claude Chabrol film 'Le Boucher'. 'La Maison' is a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre with restaurants, the bar, the bakery, a well-stocked minimarket and in the summer often extra activities such as the evening 'Marché Gourmand', when tables and benches are set out in the square for a communal outdoor meal.

The Dordogne River is a short walk from the property with many activities available including tennis, canoe hire and water-skiing. Further on up the hill is the renowned panoramic view of the ‘Cingle de Tremolat’ (river meander).

Tremolat is an ideal base for visiting the sights of the Dordogne including chateaux, medieval towns and villages (including the world famous Sarlat), prehistoric caves, cliff-top castles, vineyards, local markets, etc. .
